Britney Spears Fights Back!
On September 7, Britney Spears faced the world from the stage at MTV's 2008 VMA awards, clear-eyed, slimmed down and best of all, confident.
Quite a departure from a year (or even a few months) ago.
With her awards for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year, Britney Spears has proved to the world that she's back.
Well, at least a little bit.
Her next album, which will be released by late December, has to be a monster hit to sustain her comeback. Does she think it will deliver?
“It’s my best work ever,” Britney Spears told OK! magazine.
Even more important in Britney’s battle is her effort to win joint custody of her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from ex Kevin Federline.
“Her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons as soon as her dad [Jamie Spears'] status as her conservator ends,” a Spears insider claims.
Speaking of the little tykes, Britney is planning a joint party for Jayden's second birthday September 12 and Preston’s third birthday September 14!
Even as Lynne Spears apparently tries to sabotage her in the name of a quick buck, it's good to see Britney looking great and going strong.
