Almost a year ago, rumors were flying that Britney Spears was dating a hunky, shaggy member of her security detail named Daimon Shippen.

The same gossip popped up again this week, this time involving Spears and some dude named Lee, who's apparently one of her bodyguards.

Several celebrity gossip sites suggested Spears has been exchanging bodily fluids with Lee on a regular basis, but the rumors are absolutely not correct, Britney's manager Larry Rudolph told Access Hollywood yesterday.

“There is no truth to this,” Rudolph said. “She's 100% single.”

We're shocked.

Moreover, the man she has been spotted with, Larry says, is not even Britney Spears’ security guard, but a "staff photographer." Wait, wasn't that Adnan Ghalib? And wasn't he sleeping with the boss? We're so confused.

Amy Winehouse is no longer using drugs. According to her mom.

Winehouse, the acclaimed and troubled singer, was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering a reaction to medication at her north London home with her father, Mitch, claiming his daughter's drink was spiked with ecstasy.

But according to the 24-year-old's mother, Janis Winehouse, the hospital visit was the result of something different - simple human error.

"The truth is that Amy ended up in hospital this week because she mixed up the medication that she's taking to help her come off drugs," she told the UK's Daily Mirror newspaper. "She took a wrong tablet."

Riiiiight. Come on, Janis and Mitch Winehouse. You can't even coordinate your ridiculous cover stories? That's Lying 101, for crying out loud.

Janis' absurd comments only got worse - Amy's recent diagnosis with lung disease has "encouraged her to steer clear of recreational drugs."

"I really don't think she's using now," she claimed. "Being diagnosed with the early stage of emphysema was a real jolt. A wake-up call."

So much so that she's only pictured smoking 2-3 times a day instead of the usual 20. Such enormous progress cannot be understated.

Actress Heather Matarazzo — known for her role as Lilly Moscovitz opposite Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries — is tying the knot. With a girl!

Matarazzo's rep tells E! News that the 25-year-old actress has proposed to her girlfriend, Carolyn Murphy.

"It was really cute. First Heather proposed to Carolyn, and then Carolyn proposed to her," the rep says, adding that "it was love at first sight" when the two met a little more than a year ago and began dating.

Heather Matarazzo and Carolyn Murphy aren't the only stars heading down the aisle since California struck down a law banning gay marriage.

Ellen DeGeneres said she and Portia de Rossi will wed soon. Star Trek's George Takei is also planning a September wedding with his partner.

Both Rob Lowe and Jessica Gibson had important parts of their cases thrown out in court - and if you ask their attorneys, they both won.

The judge threw out Jessica's retaliation claim, but the judge also tossed out four Lowe claims - one being an allegation of defamation.

Jessica Gibson's attorney, Gloria Allred, said in a statement:

"He lost the heart of his case, which is defamation, and we are permitted to proceed with the heart of our case, which was and still is our allegation that Rob Lowe sexually harassed Jessica Gibson."

Lowe's attorney, Larry Stein, told celebrity news site TMZ:

"We are delighted with the court's ruling today. It removed the retaliation claim, which Ms. Allred had been focusing on and left in six claims, which allows us to prosecute every claim we've made."
