Tori Spelling might not appear on The CW's 90210 remake after all. 

This is thrilling news for those of us who couldn't care less about what Donna Martin is up to these days - but the reason behind Spelling's change of heart is interesting celebrity gossip news.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the actress initially postponed plans to appear on the series pilot because she gave birth. Seems reasonable enough.

But this is Tori Spelling. Nothing is reasonable.

New rumors state that 90210 producers offered Spelling $10k to $20k per episode to reprise her role as Donna Martin. A decent salary for what was never meant to be a full-time part.

But when Tori found out that Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were taking home twice that amount, she dropped out of the show.

While we're excited to watch a Spelling-free 90210, we're not psyched for many more seasons of a Tori reality show, as the desperate actress has no other way to make money.

Law enforcement sources say that Hayden Panettiere's dad, Alan Panettiere, has been arrested for allegedly battering his wife - Hayden's mom.

Sgt. Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said Alan was arrested early this morning on a felony count of domestic violence.

He was popped after allegedly striking Lesley Panettiere in the face at around 3:00 a.m. today. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Alan and Lesley Panettiere, parents of the 18-year-old Heroes star, were at a party earlier in the evening, according to sources.

There were no smiles flashed last night when a "disrespected" Alan Panettiere allegedly beat up Lesley Panettiere, the mother and manager of Hayden Panettiere.

Alan Panettiere allegedly became upset because Lesley was "hanging" with someone at the shindig and he felt she was "disrespecting" him.

According to Lesley's statement to Sheriffs, the couple went home and began arguing before Alan struck her in the cheek.

Cops took pictures and there are visible marks. Paramedics advised Lesley Panettiere she should go to the hospital but she refused.

Alan did not give a statement. It's unclear if any of Hayden Panettiere or her brother, Jansen Panettiere, were at the house at the time.

Well, this is one way to knock Michael Phelps off the front page.

French swimmer Laure Manaudou may not be on pace to win eight gold medals at this year's Olympics, but she is on pace to win over the hearts and minds of those that love a good nude photo scandal.

The world class athlete - who finished a disappointing eighth in yesterday's 400-meter final - is doing her best impression of Amanda Beard nude in the pictures below. They were myseriously leaked this week, though ex-boyfriend Luca Marin denies being the source.

Laure Manaudou nude photos give a new meaning to the breast stroke.

Regarding the alluring shot above, Marin said: "I know nothing about the video and have only seen the photos. Yes, it looks like it’s really her, but it is ridiculous to think it was me who put them there."

Right. Because Ranae Shrider has proven that bitter exes never release incriminating photos or videos.

Before he was running for President in 2006, John Edwards made a series of short documentaries - filmed by none other than his confirmed mistress Rielle Hunter - that for a long time vanished from the Internet... until now.

Don't get your hopes up looking for anything exciting here. These videos are pretty boring. But it's interesting to see the hero worship that went on here. Rielle Hunter clearly admired the man - to an unhealthy extent, it turned out.

The countdown is on.

In 142 days, Amy Winehouse's jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, may be released from the slammer, according to a new report out of the UK.

Blake has been told he may be released on December 30 - just in time to shoot up on the outside with the wife and celebrate New Year's!

Of course, he has to stay clean for this to happen.

Word has it he may even be let out next month for a weekend visit if he behaves himself and stays drug-free, but we seriously doubt that.

Regardless, Blake Fielder-Civil's mother, Georgette Fielder-Civil, has pleaded with him to go home to her - not Amy Winehouse.

“We’re hoping his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early,” Georgette said.  “He will be released December 30 if he’s a good boy.”

Blake Fielder-Civil has been in jail for the past year for inflicting grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

He was given a sentence of 27 months but apparently it may be cut short. Stay tuned as to whether he holds up his end, though.

We may take issue with certain instances of celebrity fashion, but The Hollywood Gossip would like to speak positively on the looks of several stars for a change.
