Did you see Michael Phelps break the record for most career Gold Medals at the 2008 Olympics last night?!? Jessica Alba probably did.

The beautiful actress - and new mother - recently blogged all about her affection for the Summer Games, saying that her and husband Cash Warren are glued to the TV every night.

"I don't know about you all but Cash and I have been glued to the Olympics," Alba wrote in a MySpace blog post titled What an Amazing Opening Ceremony! "How amazing was the opening ceremony?!? I still don't know how they coordinated 2008 people to move in perfect sync."

Alba added:

"The last time I got this excited watching sports was when [friend and new Los Angeles Clippers point guard Baron Davis] was in the NBA playoffs."

Jessica Alba likes to watch the Olympics almost as much as most guys like to watch this actress pose nude.

From her nasty divorce and custody battle, to her "performance" at the 2007 VMAs, to shaving her head, to falling under the spell of evil Sam Lutfi, to her liaisons with Adnan Ghalib, it's been a rough two years for Britney Spears.

And now, one year after an erratic and distracted Britney stormed out of an OK! Magazine photo shoot, a very different woman sat down to talk about her two adorable sons, her dad and the future of her nearly sidetracked career.

First off, the 26-year-old mother of two says that she hopes her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, do not choose a career in entertainment.

"I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to," Britney Spears explains. "I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood."

Perhaps some of Britney's reluctance comes from seeing little sister Jamie Lynn Spears have to face so much scrutiny over her recent pregnancy. "

I was shocked a little bit," says Britney. "She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling."

The pop star wants her boys to be close to her newborn niece. "I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie Briann," Spears says.

Just how famous are Lauren Conrad and The Hills?

Tour buses stop in front of their $2.3 million, three-bedroom Hollywood Hills home "between 15 and 20 times a day — with speakers!" she said.

"They've started letting them out of the bus in front of our house!" LC, 22, told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "If we're about to leave and someone yells 'Star Tours,' you hit the ground. If you go down, they can't see you."

The Los Angeles Times recently reported that residents on Lauren Conrad's once-quiet Hollywood block between Sunset and Hollywood boulevards are becoming outraged by the ongoing filming of the hit MTV "reality" show.

But Lauren Conrad says that's not her problem.

"They're complaining about the tour buses ... and the paparazzi," she said. "They're both things that we cannot help. I sympathize with my neighbors — I wouldn't want to deal with that, either. We're also victims of that, though — we don't want to deal with that. They should be complaining to the city."

She also said the neighbors "can be awful" to her and roommates, who include Lauren "Lo" Bosworth and Audrina Patridge.

The neighbors may not stay angry for too long: Lauren Conrad said the new season of The Hills, starting Monday on MTV, will likely be its last.

Then again, LC said that about the previous (third) season too.

"I would love to finish out the show and continue doing fashion," she said. "Or I'd love to get involved in production - to be on the other side!"

Based on the new, crimped out hairstyle on the self-absorbed talk show host, we really hope reality TV contestants ignore her advice. Banks obviously has no clue what she's talking about.

Peaches Geldof - daughter of Sir Bob Geldof and well known train wreck - married Max Drummey in Las Vegas last week.

None of their family or friends were around to witness the nuptials, but Geldof's spokeswoman issues the following statement:

The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week, while holidaying in America. Peaches first met Max, 23, a Harvard graduate in anthropology, two years ago. Max's band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival, where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show.

The acclaimed new Boston band were signed by Pharrell Williams to his label Star Track, a subsidiary of the giant Interscope Label.

In the acting world, Shelley Malil is best known for uttering a few humorous The 40-Year Old Virgin quotes.

But there's nothing funny about the reason why Malil is now in the news.

The actor has been arrested on attempted murder charges, as authorities allege he stabbed his ex-girlfriend in her home near San Diego yesterday.

Neighbors told gossip site TMZ that Malil and Kendra Beebe were spotted going to the gym Sunday morning. Over the weekend, a neighbor saw the duo pack up the car with Beebe's two children, reportedly headed for a beach outing.
