The main American Idol talk this week has centered around Kara DioGuardi as the fourth judge on the show. Look for her in season eight.
But while decisions such as this were being made behind the scenes, the two most popular contestants from season seven were entertaining fans as part of the American Idols Live Tour.
Here's a look at David Archuleta and David Cook from a show in Los Angeles earlier in the week:
Both David Archuleta and David Cook have albums coming out in November.

What is the point of having a contest and therefore a winner, if they are going to travel as co-winners? Cook was the CLEAR and FAVORITE winner - as obvious by the record number of votes he received.-- This sounds like a cheap ploy to me.

What I know David Archuleta is preparing for his SOLO CONCERT for next year. It's much better for Archie to focus as a SOLO ARTIST than doing another concert with one of his fellow AI Alumni Cook - I don't think that is a wise move. They just finished their concert this year with American Idol Tour - It just to premature to have a concert together again. I think its much better for Archie to concentrate and solidify is foundation as SOLO ARTIST that is why he works so hard this December with Jingle Jam Concert.
