Dating Rumor of the Day: Carrie Underwood and Michael Phelps
It seems evident at this point that Stephanie Rice is not dating Michael Phelps.
But Carrie Underwood might be!!!
Reportedly, the American Idol champion has referred to the Olympic icon as "cute" and the pair is planning a “quiet first date” near Carrie’s home in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to sources, the swimmer texted the singer, remarking on plans for said first date: “I’m not so sure you’d want to see me eat! It might not make a great first impression.”
A friend of Underwood's isn't a fan of this possible couple The National Enquirer:
“Carrie needs someone who is going to stick by her. She was devastated when her relationship with Tony Romo broke. The last thing she needs is a relationship with another high-profile celebrity who’s going to end up loving and leaving her.”
Way to steretype all athletes, random anonymous source person!

I hope this is not a maybe relationship i would hate for them to break up and she talk crap about michael phelps becasue she feels like she has been done wrong again if he is with stephanine rice he should stay with her because she understands the life of a swimmer and carrie does not this would be another "bad" relationship

I hope that it's true aboth them, I like the both of them, I met Carrie Underwood when she was 15 years old at Tonitown Grape Festival. I love her to death. She had a bad deal with Tony Romo, but that don't mean it would be a bad deal with Phelps. Good Luck to them...

I am a huge fan of both Carrie Underwood and Michael Phelps. If this turns out to be true, that would be totally awesome.

First of all, Carrie is a small town Christian woman and she still has good morals and values, I know this, because I know the family. Now the comment was made by a friend of Carries that said:

Now this is stereotyping and you know what? This person is 100% correct. Approx. 98% of all actors,actresses,entertainers, and athletes that are in the public eye are in-sincere and not geniune, they are phonies and fakes and all they care about is sex, sex, sex, and money, money, money. The exception to this, is most, not all, but most singers within the Country Music industry are good-hearted, genuine, sincere, faitful believers in "Our Lord" and most come from the small town good morals and values, which Carrie comes from, and most of the singers who are male or female have married someone not in the public eye and for a very good reason, now there are exceptions but this is far and few between, such as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill McGraw they have managed to keep it together and not forget where they came from. Take Martina McBride, she married a man not in the public eye and thats they way it should be for all Country Singers, including Carrie, she needs to find a good-christian man in her home town to marry, and trust me there are plenty good looking men that want to be with her, she just needs to give them a chance and stop thinking they only like her because of her fame, and most of them liked her before she was famous, they just never said anything to her, because she had a boyfriend for a very long time and they did not want to interfere with her relationship by hitting on her, and you know why?? It is becasue they are good men with morals and values......Thats what she needs to do, eventually after her getting hurt and used over and over again, she will realize this........
