Celebrity Look-Alikes, Vol. 49: Tina Fey vs. Sarah Palin
One stars on 30 Rock. The other was just chosen as a possible Vice President of the United States. We can only hope there's an episode of the NBC comedy this fall in which Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) is mistaken for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Not sure what Lisa Landry is smoking, but Gov Palin is NOT a social moderate. She's anti-abortion even in cases of rape/incest. She has forced rape victims to pay for their own rape-kits used by police to collect evidence of the attack.
She's not fiscally conservative, as she left her home town indebted due to her incompetence. As mayor, she went ahead with the construction of a hockey arena before the city had secured title to the land, costing nearly $1.5 million over budget.
As governor, she cost the state millions keeping open a bankrupt state-run dairy that benefited her friends. She LOST money selling the jet, and while she didn't build the "bridge to nowhere", she did NOT return the $230+ million to the Federal treasury. She kept the money for her state. Her state has near the highest per-capita ear-marks in the country, a tradition she followed beginning as mayor of her small town when she hired a DC lobbying firm.
She's closely tied to Ted Stevens, (R-Indicted)

Sarah Palin is a disgrace to woman, and kills animals for fun. You have to be the biggest idiot or the blindest human being ever to want to vote for her. She is a crazy evangelical (the worst kind) christian, and goes with her beliefs before logic. We need to keep church seperated from state, or just get rid of church all together, causes way too many problems, and people vote due to religion.
I say vote for someone who is not an redneck, hillbilly soccer mom, who lied about polar bears being on the endangered species list so she could make more money for her stupid state and her stupid husband.
i hope she gets hit by a truck, or better yet, eaten by a polar bear.
Tina Fey is awesome though!

Ok... John McCain chose Palin as his running mate strategically. It seems like when someone says Palin isnt qualified, people say we are being sexist and putting her down. She is a distraction. Her speech, along with McCains, was horrible. Where did they talk about things THEY were going to do. She just talked about Obama. I found it very mean. I mean... How is she qualified? Yes she has accomplished some things, but most Mayors and Govenors have. Does it mean ALL OF THEM ARE QUALIFIED. I know this was a strategic move so just admit it. And then people keep saying how John McCain made history by picking her. OMG. It would be different if we elected her like Obama was elected by the American people. She was put there by McCain to get a certain vote. Pathetic...

Sarah Palin is uniquely qualified to handle the job of VP! Not only does her political career lend itself to the job; but trust me when I say that a good mother of 5 children has plenty of experience in the area of keeping peace, solving problems and trimming unnecessary spending! She can do it and she will! My vote is for McCain/Palin all the way to the White House! It's refreshing to FINALLY have a true representative of the PEOPLE running for the second highest office in our nation!

I think Tina Fay is moderately funny but will do a great Sarah Palin. She is smarter, classier and more honest than any female on the dem side and a credit to all women to get the nod. A taxpayer voting for Obama is like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders. Rogue nations will eat him alive, and Biden's smartass mouth will only stoke the flames of partisanism and gridlock. McCain is the better choice, although I still plan to write in for Bill Cosby.

I thought I was the only one that saw the uncanny resemblance... it's enough to get my vote... Tina Fey for VP I say!!!

Yes! Palin does look like Tina Fey. I wonder who Fey is supporting? It seems it would be in Fey's best interest now to elect McCain-Palin.
I like Palin. She comes across as a no nonsense, get it done type a person. You don't make a lot a friends that way but it's not always about leaving everyone with a warm fuzzy!
Palin is strong on energy, she is a fiscal conservative and she is socially moderate. As a Romney supporter during the primaries, it was difficult for me to get behind McCain. With Sarah Palin as VP, McCain has my vote!

Tina Fey is probably as qualified to become the VP as Sarah Palin. John Wayne McBush went w-a-y out on a limb with his selection, and we can only pray that they aren't elected. McCain is showing his disdain for women by culling Ms. Palin for this important job and he should be ashamed. He's too old be become President and this is a prime example of his diminishing mental capabilities.
