Britney Spears: The Worst Singer Ever
Seriously. Jessica Simpson is officially off the hook.
At least at last year's VMA debacle, Britney Spears didn't even pretend to sing. If she had, the pop wreck might have provided more material such as this video circulating online. It's from some old shows, and man, it's far from good.
Britney clearly lip-synched the concerts shown here, but someone behind the scenes apparently recorded what, if anything, was actually sung (more like spoken, really) into her mic. The audience didn't hear this, but we can now!

Don't be ridiculous. She may not be the most amazing vocalist, but do you really think that singing you can here over the video is hers? I love you guys for your gossip, but if you knew anything about recording, you could tell that someone would have had to have been very close to the microphone of the camera to record that kind of sound. Also, the sound drowns out the noise of the crowd, which means the singer recorded OVER the original video. Come on now, be a little intelligent.

It's not a secret that she lip syncs at shows, although if you watch her filmed concerts, it's obvious that she does sing live on ballads when she's not dancing. As others said, it would be impossible for her to dance like she does and still have enough control of her breathing to sing. The "singing" that they do on top of the recorded track is just to make the lip syncing appear more natural.

To Dance around and sing? Duh, its going to sound bad!
She lip-sings just like Madonna & Janet Jackson.
Why is this suddenly a big deal?
She obviously can sing or she wouldn't have been on the mickey mouse club!

She is dancing around like crazy. If you did that and sung at the same time then you would sound a little off as well

This is an OLD video- I've seen it several times on YouTube! But, it's still GOOD! :)
