The thing that most don't realize is that this is a TV show and the editors are only showing us what they want to see. I read somewhere else that Graham predicted DeAnna would choose Jesse and that the editors cut out a lot from the show so that if we had seen those parts we would have known how DeAnna felt about Jesse.
Also, he's a snowboard instructor now, that doesn't mean that his business won't take off, he's only 26 for gosh sakes.
I think that DeAnna picked who she clicked with and who she fell in love with. Sure, Jason is a great guy, but if she didn't have the hots for him then what kind of a relationship would that be? There has to be some kind of chemistry and DeAnna has that with Jesse. And we'll probably see Jason as the next Bachelor, I wouldn't be surprised because he's so well liked by the audience. ;)

I really don't understand the slams against Deanna or Jesse. Jason seemed like a nice man, but if her heart wasn't in it, it was best to turn him down.
So many of the bachelors were cookie cutter types... Jesse stood out as a unique personality. His style to go after friendship first and see what developed instead of going after the sexual attraction first was very mature and an indication of his moral values.
From what I understand, this 26 year old has already realized that life is not how much money you make or your social status, but that being happy and doing what you're passionate about is what really counts. Still, he apparently has his own property, his own business, and he's really good at his chosen profession. I was most impressed at his non-profit work teaching children to snowboard who couldn't otherwise afford it.
I really didn't think Deanna had it in her, I thought she'd make a predictable choice. That she opened up to an authentic, genuine relationship says quite a bit about her. Even though a reality TV show seems an unlikely place for 2 people to meet and actually fall in love, it's fun that it actually happened. When the finale included both Deanna & Jesse saying indepedently that they had found their "soulmate" and couldn't imagine living without the other person, I thought that was incredibly sweet.
For all the negative comments... Are you that controlling of your friends, telling them who they should or shouldn't love? That doesn't sound healthy to me!

i know maybe hes probably not the right guy but at least she likes him and thats what matters.even if she picked jason then she would not like him and thats not good.You cannot tell ur heart what to do.She loves him and thats what matters.Good choice.i understand u deaane

I think the D in her name stands for dumb.Well now that is out of the way. I really wanted her to pick Jeremy. After he came to her hotel to see her I could not belive that. Another thing I think I picked up on was I did not think she was over Brad yet. I did not watch her on last season then I saw the tape of when she was confronting Brad. Oh man I freaked! I think she knew Brad would be watching it. How do you go on one show fall in love and then go on another show and pick another man and be so in love with well lets face it she said she was falling in love with like 4 different men,all within a year. Plus I think she was talking about Brad through out the whole show. I think it was so rude of her to keep Jason away from his son till the end she knew he did not like being away from his son. I think she is one confused gal,and very very self-centered.

I don't know why people are so quick to judge her decision. Only DeAnna & Jesse know how they really feel. And sometimes the obvious choice is not the right choice. Sometimes the person who seems not right is exactly right. I found that out myself and have been happily married for 10 years! They definitely look like they are in love and truly are a great match! Good luck to them and I hope everyone else is kinder in their comments.

I have it all figured out!! Jeremy the lawyer has a dark side and seems too perfect. Jason has been divorced and no one really knows the details of that situation so one would be leary. And Jesse, if you remember his apartment was soooooooo organized with everything labeled and snowboards all over the wall, is also a bad choice. I think she missed someone along the way in the 25 bachelors. DeAnna seems to be the controling kind and motherly so it would have to be someone wimpie and needs to be directed. Maybe Graham might be the one - she had the hots for him. And she was diffently looking for someone that she had the hots for. I just don't think she really had the hots for Jesse. She just liked the excitement he has for life but that wears thin. Good luck!

I think you all give DeAnna way too much credit. In my mind, the guy she picked is the one we should be feeling sorry for, not the guys she sent home. To me, she seems to be a confused, insecure girl with a lack of wit and little intelligence who finds love every time a decent guy looks her way. I was amazed that ABC chose such a dimwit as Brad to be a bachelor, and I thought DeAnna was a great match for him because she is a dimwit, too. While Jesse may not seem ready for marriage and may be somewhat immature, I like him a whole lot more than I like DeAnna! And I think both he and Jason stand a good chance of finding a good woman and living happily ever after--just not with this bachelorette!

Wow, there are some pretty harsh comments on here. We as the public cannot judge these people's relationship based on what the television station chose to show us. We don't know everything that happened between DeAnna and each of the men. But if you watch the episodes again. You can see in DeAnna's face that she really cares for Jesse. Even Jason mentioned the way she looked at Jesse was different than the way she looked at him. My personal opinion, even though it doesn't matter, is that their friendship will pull them through this relationship. When everything else has diminished and the "new" love is gone, they will still be happy with eachother simply because they can make eachother laugh.

Deanna followed her heart and choose the man she felt suited her best. We are not sharing her heart. Only Deanna truly knows. I would have not guessed Jesse from the beginning but definitely saw their relationship blossom throughout the weeks. Jason seems to be a fantastic guy and will make some lady very happy. Deanna seems to be very happy with Jesse and he will probably make her very happy in the long run. Jesse seems like a genuine nice guy! I wish the happy couple all the very best.

I am extremely disappointed in DeAnna's selection of Jesse and the show overall. This show has such huge pomp, but lacks circumstance. Jeremy and Jason were the far better choices for DeAnna as far as truly being "in love" with her and putting her first. They are also better able to provide for her financially. What is Jesse going to do when the Pappas family insists that DeAnna be in Georgia when his heart wants to be in Breck. Good luck to you both. I will sit back here on the sidelines waiting for it all to fall apart. I'll bet 2 years max!!!

stop saying deanna made a bad choice!! Know one knows her better then herself and honestly jesse is perfect for her. I thought she would end up with jason and i also wanted her to but deanna doesnt see him as a guy she can wake up to and fall asleep next to everyday of her life. After i realized that one of the big reasons i wanted jason and deanna to end up is because after seeing him as a father i knew he deserved to find love but it doesnt mean he should rush into things if it means taking risks. Love is a big word and even tho everyone can have there own opinion's doesnt mean they should think deanna is a bad person for not picking the guy u wanted her to pick.

DeAnna is very much a control person. I think that Jason and Jeremy were to good for her. Go going spend the rest of your life with a snowboarder, there's are great job. I can just see Jesse on the snowboard when he is 50. I hope DeAnna likes supporting her husband for the rest of her life, because he won't be able to, unless they live in a field inside a tent without running water!

I think Deanna made the right choice. It was obvious by watching them on that last episode!! They do look like soulmates and seem very much in love. Jesse may be a snowboarder, but that doesn't mean he won't be successful and make her happy. They are so cute together and will make beautiful babies when their time is right. Way to go Deanna and Jesse!!!

I know from personal experience that the guy that seems the most stable is not...it is all about love. Jesse is the most stable and manly. Jason ran like a , and was totally unappealing! DeAnna is a real woman, and that requires a real man. All of the other guys had issues...Jesse is the best pick. I read somewhere that they are a young Katherine Zeta-Jones and Micheal Douglas. I can see that! The people that I have read that have had long relationships get why DeAnna chose Jesse. I bet that he makes her toes curl!:)

DeAnna Pappas wasn't real to me see said she was okay with jason having a child but allin all she wasn't, she said it by picking Jesse and she give it away who picked at the one on one date and she said something that made think Jesse need to be her boyfriend he was her friend first,I have question what was all the other guys there non boyfriends tell me that didn't sound right Jason could read her like a book and I don't she like that her dad and I figure out who she pick on the visit. and I do believe Jason figure it out also on the one on one date she was different toward him and Jesse she started talking like him and doing things for him.

Can you believe that here in S.Africa, we have only just seen the last episode. If only I had known about this website, I could have saved myself a lot of time and misery.
Like many others, I'm convinced DeAnna chose the wrong bachelor. I thought Jason was evrything a girl could want, and was flabergasted when she chose Jesse.
It is now a year on from the end of the programme, so I would really like to know how the romance fared. Can anyone tell me where to look on the net?

As for the comment 'I think that it was funny any time someone asked Jesse what he was going to do after he's done snowboarding, he never answered' ... well, he may have answered- did you even consider how much this show was edited!!!!!??? they cut to him sitting there, but that could have been in response to ANY question.
I like Jesse - he was REAL - i liked Jason, but he was ready to be anybody's somebody. Jesse never has been married before so OF COURSE he wont come across as ready, or as experienced, or as confident. he was in love and was scared shitless of being hurt. not of being with her. there is a huge difference. and i think he would be a GREAT dad - just because he didnt prove that with a son of his own like Jason, doesnt mean he wouldnt be great. and Snowboarding might not be his whole life - he could get any job or any opportunity could come his way. Just like Jason could change his interests, job or even his feelings for Deanna! THINGS CHANGE, and i think the fact that she went with her heart was the BEST decision. You cannot say she made a bad decision by going with that, because you can never be 100% sure. EVER.
