While Kim Kardashian - as proven below - has given up any semblance of fashion taste, she is showing support for her family.

Despite the fact that her brother is obviously an unloved child (what, no ridiculous "K" name for him?!?), Kim recently said she was a huge fan of her brother's girlfriend, Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon.

"Adrienne has become one of my closest friends! I love her like a sister! The whole family has fallen in love with her, too," Kardashian said.

Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City star Kyle MacLachlan and his wife, Project Runway producer Desiree Gruber, have welcomed their first child!

Son Callum Lyon MacLachlan was born Friday, July 25 in Los Angeles.

The couple announced the pregnancy in January, and the sex of the baby in April - with Kyle MacLachlan grousing that Desiree Gruber wouldn't even consider Jethro as a name option! Oh well, the sacrifices we make.

Kyle's latest film, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, opens August 6, while Desiree's Project Runway airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

One would think that the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter scandal would trigger an all-out war within the mainstream media as various outlets run with it while others claim "journalistic integrity" and refuse to go down that road.

Instead, it's confined entirely to the Internet. What gives?

Given that John has effectively been busted twice by the National Enquirer, you'd think some media sources would at least pull the old standby, “We’re not claiming this happened, but some are saying...” Nothing, though.

Here's his awkward denial of it (30 seconds in) when a reporter asked Friday if the supposed Rielle Hunter love child would doom his V.P. hopes ...

Why does Edwards get the benefit of the doubt even after being caught in a hotel with Rielle Hunter and the baby? We have some theories:

• Liberal bias (default)
• Too busy worshiping Barack Obama to care (also default)
• A belief that once a presidential candidate drops out of the race, he or she is no longer subject to such scrutiny (despite the fact that the Rielle Hunter scandal was first broken while he was running for president)   
• Disdain for celebrity news sources like the Enquirer, despite all the other solid stories (Isaiah Washington's gay tirade, for one) they’ve broken that were eventually picked up by “legitimate” media?

An endorsement deal for condoms, that is. Sheesh, people, you think she's going Jamie Lynn Spears on us? Get your minds outta the gutter.

LifeStyles Condoms offered the 15-year-old starlet $1 million to be the new "face" of their product. They think that Miley Cyrus, a self-proclaimed virgin, could encourage other teens to at least practice safe sex.

The VP of marketing for LifeStyles told the New York Daily News:

"With recent reports showing that one out of four teenage girls has an STD and the high level of teenage pregnancy, we believe that Miley Cyrus is both influential and relatable to this afflicted group of people - and the most obvious choice to get the safe sex message out to teens across America."

In addition to $1 million, LifeStyles also offered Miley Cyrus a lifetime supply of condoms. As happy as this would make Lucas Till, a spokesperson for Miley said she's not interested and it's never going to happen. Oh well.

Why would Sheryl Lowe invite Laura Boyce on vacation - then sue her right after?

In court documents, Laura Boyce says she had no contact with Sheryl Lowe after she quit her gig last November - that is, until she received a saccharine voice mail at the end of March, inviting her on vacation with the Lowes.

One can magine Boyce's surprise as - a week later - Lowe did a 180 and sued her.

Also sued? Fellow nanny Jessica Gibson. The nerve of some people!

Boyce says she quit the Lowe house after she says Sheryl snickered during a phone call that the nanny got "strep throat from sucking n***er d**k."

Laura was dating former NBA star Dale Davis at the time.

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse was released from a London hospital Tuesday after an overnight stay to treat "an adverse reaction to medication."

That's what they're caling it now, apparently.

Amy Winehouse was discharged from London's University College after spending the night in observation, said spokesman Chris Goodman.

The singer was rushed to the hospital's emergency room by ambulance from her north London home Monday night. Goodman said the medication she had been taking was ingested her home, but did not provide further details.

"She had a bit of a scare yesterday because of a reaction to treatment. She was kept in overnight purely for observation," Goodman said. "Amy is at home now after leaving with her father and manager. She is having a rest."

Amy Winehouse, who won Grammys and acclaim for her 2006 album Back to Black, was admitted to a London clinic in June after collapsing at home.

Her father, Mitch Winehouse, said at the time she had developed early stage emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine.Continue Reading...

24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub welcomed a baby boy, Valentine Anthony on Thursday, her rep has confirmed to Us Weekly.

"Mother and baby are great!" her rep said.

He is the first child for Mary Lynn Rajskub, 36, and her live-in boyfriend Matthew Rolph, 28.

"With the strike going on - I had to keep busy!" Rajskub joked about her pregnancy. "We are thrilled and couldn't be more excited."

Forget Andre the Giant.

Of all the opponents Hulk Hogan has squared off against over the years, he says ex-wife Linda Hogan is the most challenging.
