I am so happy for the two of them. Maybe people wouldn't be so miserable if they weren't so superficial. Jesse has a good heart and DeAnna saw past that crazy exterior and fell in love with him for who he really is. My husband is my Jesse. No one could see us together and yet here we are thirty years later and still deeply in love. It's the real deal with these two. I wish the the best.

Do your homework. Jesse is a very good match for Deanna. He is very well established and has made a career out of his passion. Those who judged him as immature because he is unconventional are haters. I think she made a thoughtful decision and knew that her life with him would be exciting, secure and solid.

Deanna made the right choice. I have married a man who have made me laugh for past 15 years. And he was a grad student when we met and married. Now he is successful man at work and also best dad of 2. I am sure they will happy for many years to come, just like her grandma.

No No DeAnna was maeanand feel she was very wrong to lead Jason on like that she should have picked some of person to hurt not Jason she leep him around eight weeks to get rejected and that was wrong she no better Brad so do tell me she love Jesse for she said she want someone to open her car door and pay for dinner Jason did that and Jesse didn't even help her on the horse let lone anything else she hurt two people not one two and Ifeel that she was wrong tell him that she did love him on national TV and she knew he wasn't the one she let him bend down and that hurt i felt bad bad for Jason DeAnna made me not like her and much she very selfish it all about her and her feelings she hurt two people she need to tell ty why even thou the child is 3year old this will stay with him and he will wonder why she not around well no babies no time soon unless she is having one now for Jesse is not ready for a marriage nor a baby this show was a different the one you think gets kick in the butt and the one she picks is not ready. oh well we know who will be running the house just like the other bachelorette. Before you judge Jesse, look for him online and some of his snowboarding interviews. He has his sight on the future and is a great guy. I think Deanna made the perfect choice - I've been pulling for Jesse for quite a while. As for Jason, I see a big red flag when one person offers no responsibility for a divorce. It's usually a two-way street. When Deanna and Jesse both said they found their soulmate, how can anyone judge that? I'm so glad Deanna had the guts to follow her heart. Jesse is awesome and adorable.

I (like the rest of AMERICA) am so disappointed, I know I'm not DeAnna, and only DeAnna knows what she really wants, but COME ON!!!!! If I was Single, I would pick Jason, he was such a GOOD GUY, I hate to say it, but he was much better looking, and seemed to possess GREAT qualities. All I know is I hope that JASON is the next BACHELOR, because there are so many women out there who would love to marry a single father. Over and over again DeAnna says it wasn't about the fact that Jason had a son, but really, I think it had a LOT to do with her FINAL PICK! Jason was PERFECT, he only had two flaws, a divorce and a son...whereas Jesse was "perfect" in DeAnna's eyes as well, yet he didn't have a family yet, or had been married. I feel like DeAnna wanted to start out with a CLEAN SLATE....but how harsh, she should've drug GRAHAM on or JEREMY, not kept JASON away from his 3 year old son for any longer than he had to...I'm sure he is in a LOT of PAIN!
anyhow....my point is....
JASON FOR NEXT BACHELOR, LETS PRAY HE IS!!! HE NEEDS TO FIND LOVE AND COMPLETE HIS FAMILY!!

All of these comments about DeAnna picking the WRONG person! Ridiculous! No one posting these messages knows exactly what someone goes through in this process - we only see what is on TV and that is EDITED - HELLO!!!
And why is everyone stuck on looks and the outside? Personally, Jesse is very good looking and his attitude and personality make him even more beautiful. DeAnna looked through the "first impressions" of looks and chose the person that was perfect for HER!
There comes a time when people grow up and look past the outside looks of someone and actually learn the inside of someone and that is more important in life and marriage. There may not be as many divorces in this country is people really searched their hearts for thie perfect soulmate and not just the cutest guy that they see. Grow up people - DeAnna knows what she is doing and if people could not see how uncontrolably happy her and Jesse were last night then some of you are not paying attention to the reality of LOVE.

Hello? We are not picking for Deanna She is choosing for herself. Remember when Deanna's grandpa reminded his wife that? Grandma wanted Jason too. Personally I am thrilled. I think Jesse was just himself, not spouting the romantic lines-remember that line he gave that he wouldn't go to the fantasy suite unless he asked her dad. And she said, "Are you for real?" Too funny. He was spontaneous and boyish, and funny lasts forever. It was the best Bachelorette because we saw her change--she thought she wanted the royal treatment--and really she wanted fun and adventure. I loved the way Jesse called her Dee. Ah, sweet. And at the end, she was already calling him Honey. Swoon, swoon. I think they will be as happy as Trista and Ryan. Who cares about classic handsome--Jesse has gorgeous eyes--and if he wear a mullet forever--that is cool. Hockey player Ryan Smyth wore his mullet until 38 and everyone loved it. And remember Jesse's dad's goofy Willie Nelson hat? Life is going to be lots of fun with Jesse's family. And I feel Jesse won over Deanna's dad too. It took a while but life eventually unfolds naturally. I feel life with Jason would be SO boring--he kept saying he looking to complete his family like Deanna was chattal or a trophy wife on a shelf. It creeped me out every time he said it--and the word "connection" is a huge turn-off. Chemisty is an unpredictable thing--this was the best show yet as we saw the chemistry take off between the most unlikely combo. I wish I had seen all the episodes. Do they ever air again? I tuned in about halfway through. One thing I have noticed, that the Bachelorette seems to have a better track record than The Bachelor. Why not do more of them? I was totally back into the show after missing the last Bachelor. My 2 cents.

Jesse came from a wonderful home. Did anyone even notice how wonderful and wise his Father and Mother were, how grounded they were? I don't think that snowboarding equals immature or goofy. As a women thats been married for seven years and three children, a sense of humor is very important to have as a married couple-trust me. Jesse has a beautiful soul and I wanted Deanna to choose him, I feel they will have a very good life together. Did anyone notice how much love he had for her? He was so much more emotional then Jason whenver he spoke of her. He is tops! I can pnly pray my own daughter marries someone like Jesse.
Jason was nice, but did not have the same passionate feelings for Deanna-as well he is a divorced man, how would you feel marrying someone whos already been married??? I am so happy she picked Jesse-sheesh I wish I could send them a wedding gift!!!!

don't get me wrong or anything he's a nice guy and fun, but theres more to a marriage than fun.
I think he's a little immature...not just because he's a snowboarder..just the way he talks.

Wow. Didn't see that coming! All along DeAnna gave the impression that she wanted to settle down and have a family. Hello! Jason would have been the perfect choice! I think she decided she didn't want to go straight into a family and instead wanted to have a few years to just have fun. Well, after she's had her fun, I think reality will set in and she'll realize Jesse isn't ready to stop having fun and start a family. He never really struck me as the type to really want that. I think he told her things that she wanted to hear. And I never thought Jesse really acted sincere about how much he loves DeAnna. It all seemed too fake. I will be very surprised if they end up getting married.
I think Jason should be the next bachelor. Like he said, "Third time's the charm!" I would definitely watch that!

Jesse reminds me very much of my husband. There are priorities in life and Jason and Jesse offered different things. My husband was terrified of marriage and I had to push him to get things going. If he didn't really want to marry me, he wouldn't have - same with Jesse. He just realized how big of a commitment marriage really is - wasn't taking it lightly in other words.
After the extreme passion wears off over the years, and it does even in the hottest relationships, you had better be good friends or what have you got left?
I can see Jessie and DeeAnna's relationship blossoming into the kind of relationship I have been lucky to develop with my husband. Money can come and go as well as good and bad life situations, but to have your best friend at your side through it all - this is the wish of us all if we can see through the stuff that society has told us is important in a man, or a relationship for that matter.
I wish them both much warmth and happiness for their future.

Deanna, should have picked Jason, he was a great guy, well established, and ready to settle down. Jesse was the typ of guy a girl would pick when she is a teenager. I dont see thsi lasting till their wedding on May 9th, but she could not chose Jason just casue he is safe. I agree she needs to be in love and if she did not feel it for Jason, then she cold not pick him. I dont see her and Jesse as a match either.

DeeNa and Jesse do match and have chemistry. DeeNa is a free-spirit like her family said and she gets along with Jesse. Deena is a realtof, but also a bartender and model. So, she is not so serious to be matched with Jason or Jeremy. If a woman was looking for a good catch - it would have been Jeremy, the attorney who had a great job, no ex and no kid. The number three should have been number one for a good catch. Jason was a good catch, but she was too young to get into an established family. Perhaps Jason needs a lady closer to his 31 year old age. DeeNa and Jesse are both the same age 26 and can grow together. It is true that he is a surfboarder dude, but she is also in the limelight and they will get paid for their TV appearances together, so money is not the option. They chose one another's hearts and that is what counts. The only thing is that she did a make-out session with Jason and it was not fair to lead him on, especially since he is vulnerable with a son. She should have thought more seriously and let him go early on if she was not ready to take him on. He got hurt. Jason deserves a serious girl, not a free-spirited fame seeking want-to-be model and celebrity like DeeAnna. Jason needs a woman to raise his child and not be traveling and focusing on her own intestests. He didn't need this heartbreak and hopes that he finds a kind, selfless woman.

I think she chose the right guy. She is too young to settle down to a house and a picket fence and a child. Although Jason was a good catch, she wasnt ready for all the responsibility, nor should she be at 26. I hope her and Jesse have a great time snowboarding, traveling, making love in a condo or small apartment and when they are ready, build a picket fence and buy a 60" flat screen and have a baby of their own.
PS. ?? Jesse must have other credtials doesnt, he? college? anyone know?

I picked Jesse from the first night. I was so happy she kept giving him roses. I knew he would be the one in the end. He truly loves Dee (as he called her) and it was obvious that she loves him too. I do think she had feelings for Jason and don't think she led him on, but she had a choice to make and she made the one that was best for her. Just because Jesse is a "snowboarder" doesn't mean he is a loser. He has a great family with a stable marriage. He owns his own house and even started his own foundation. No, he won't be able to snowboard forever, but what you do for a living is not important -- that you find love in your life that will stand the test of time that is what is important. Jason wanted to "love again" not necessarily love DeAnna, he didn't even shed a tear when she rejected him. Like her sis-in-law said, marrying Jason would fast forward her life 5 years. I have nothing against him being divorced with a child, but that isn't what she was looking for. He was so "sure" of himself, but Jesse was shaking up til she said "yes". Sometimes you find true love in places you weren't even looking and that is exactly what happened for DeAnna. Jesse was by far the best choice. He said he was scared to settle down, but by the end he was sure that was what he wanted. Jesse and DeAnna are truly in love and obviously very happy together. If their wedding is televised I will definately be tuning in on May 9, 2009. Congrats DeAnna and Jesse!
