DeAnna Pappas, Jesse Csincsak Discuss Wedding Plans!
Now that the season finale is behind them, The Bachelorette’s DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak can finally step out together as a happy couple.
A happy, engaged couple.
The pair revealed some of the first details of their wedding planning (save the date, 5/9/09!) in a recent interview with People magazine.
“It’s like this weight off your chest,” Csincsak said night at the Dodgers game in Los Angeles, where DeAnna Pappas threw out the first pitch.
“[During The Bachelorette] she was able to go out and do all the press, but I was just locked in a house, losing my mind [and] wanting to tell all my friends that I was engaged to the hottest woman alive!”
The first time they ventured out together as a couple, DeAnna and Jesse dined at a restaurant where they were immediately recognized.
A star-struck waitress jokingly said they had ruined The Bachelorette's season finale for her since she hadn’t watched it yet.
“I would have never have thought random people would know me,” Jesse Csincsak said of getting recognized by strangers. “It’s a trip and it’s awesome and there’s no one I would rather share it with than [DeAnna Pappas.]”
Another public outing came Tuesday when the couple attended a taping of MTV’s Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew.
The couple has not jumped into planning out the entire wedding just yet but do have a few specifics in mind:
- She wants a brown theme
- He wants a “huge” cheesecake (or ‘groom’s cake,’)
- The men will wear suits instead of tuxedos.
- Contestants on this season’s The Bachelorette, as well as Pappas’ friends from the 11th season of The Bachelor, will be invited as guests!
Two other people who will probably be in attendance: Trista and Ryan Sutter. “They’re great friends,” Jesse Csincsak said about the former Bachelorette stars, who live 20 minutes down the road from him in Breckenridge, Colo.
Trista and Ryan have an adorable baby son, Max. As for starting a family on their own, “We want to have kids before we’re 30,” Jesse Csincsak, “but we’re working on getting married ... then we’ll work on the bambinos!”

I am so thrilled for Deanna and Jesse. I think every single picture I have seen of them looks like they are so in love!! You guys rock. I am so bummed that I can't watch you on TV anymore! I am so curious to know how your life unfolds and I wish both of you nothing but the absolute best!! Don't listen to all of the people who have nothing to say but negative. YOU HAVE MY VOTE!!

DeAnna & Jesse,
It so much fun to watch your relationship blossom this spring. Honestly, the first time I saw Jesse my first thought was "What were they thinking when they cast this guy?"! After seeing his personality come out I KNEW why he was not only cast but still around. What a great athlete and dancer!
DeAnna we all fell in love with you the first time we saw you. You are not just beautuful but spunky and obviously a gifted athlete.
I wish you years and years of happiness and a houseful of little snowboarders.
You two look like not just lovers but best friends, an unbeatable combination. I wish you many happy years together
