Brangelina Babies Update: Brad Pitt Emotional, Mayor Exploitive

Following a series of false reports, it's been confirmed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did, indeed, welcome twins into the world on Saturday night in France.

Dr. Michael Sussman, who delivered Knox and Vivienne, said the Caesarean section procedure went perfectly, as the actress was awake and excited throughout.

"It was an epidural, so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy," said Sussmann, adding that Pitt was more than up to the task of cutting the children's umbilical chords. "He was perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional."

Meanwhile, Mayor Christian Estrosi of Nice, France, took advantage of the opportunity to try and increase tourism to his city. He showed off Knox Leon's birth certificate outside the Fondation Lenval hospital, where Knox and sister Vivienne Marcheline were born.

"On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents, the most famous couple in the world, who have chosen our city for this happy event," Estrosi said. "We are truly honored and thankful to have them here."
