After country singer Sara Evans and Jay Barker, a former University of Alabama quarterback, tied the knot on Saturday, Evans summed it up best.

"It was a fairy-tale wedding," the country star said.

It was also a family affair: Sara Evans was escorted down the aisle at a Tennessee farm by son Avery, 8, and daughters Olivia, 5, and Audrey, 3.

Similarly, Jay Barker's four children - Andrew, 9, Braxton, 8, and twins Sarah Ashlee and Harrison, 6 - gave him away.

It was a dream wedding for Sara Evans and Jay Barker.

The day after the wedding, the couple - introduced by their pastor after their respective divorces - were at home, grilling and watching movies.

"We wanted this week to be just us together as a family because next week we go on our honeymoon," Evans said.

"We just want to relish every moment as a family."

Next up for Sara Evans and her children is a move to Birmingham, Ala., where Jay Barker works as a sports radio host.

"I can't believe we get to spend the rest of our lives together," he said.
