I can tell you I used to be a fan and was losing interest because of the CONSTANT drama on the boards and with Clay - this last go around is just alittle weird for me and I'm outta there. I'm not a stalker and don't post - this is just me being done with this whole chaotic fandom! Call me what you want. Usually do when you don't agree with the fans - the ones left that is.

Why would anybody have hateful feellings against
Clay Aiken if he wants to become a father, he's not going to be the father of your children. When are you people out there going to realize you pay to have Clay entertain you, that's it, that is all you are getting from Clay. Clay has another life and you are not a part of it, get mad whatever, Clay need someone to love him as a father. Mr Aiken you are doing the right thing, as for marriage or whatever, that is God's business and yours. Your true fans are still with you, and your children will be with you when you grow (old) where will those who are critical of you be? Still complaining, old and still narrow minded, or gone on to be with that old bad man. You go boy!

Katy is one of the usual suspects who poses as a Clay fan on every comment page and blog she can find about Clay. She uses the same MO. She is dissapointed with Clay...booo hoo hooo. Didn't you leave when you believed the tabloid stories from two years ago? Why did you stay? Aren't you one of the posers who filed that phony complaint with the FCC? I would bet that crap and katy are the same person here. Waiting for crap to come and defend Kay....since that's how the play the GAME.

Go ahead and stick your head in the sand if you want to. There has been a concerted effort to silence all the disenchanted fans on his Oh-ficial fan club and other message boards. However, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but silence does not mean acquiescence. He HAS lost a lot of fans over this mess.

Katy, you're either one of the Haters who've been dogging Clay for these past five years, or you're an incredibly narrow-minded judgmental jerk. Which is it?
I'm one fan, among thousands, who is sticking with Clay regardless of what the true story is. I doubt it's what the "press" is delivering to us.

I can tell you for certain until this story broke I was a diehard fanclub membership, concert attending, CD buying fan. Diehard because I haven't been thrilled with some of Clay's choices but I stayed for the voice. Not any more. I don't trust him anymore because it turned out that he is not the person he led his fans to believe he was. The last person on earth I would have expected to father a child without benefit of marriage was Clay Aiken. Shame on him!

IMHO, fans who leave Clay because of this were never fans in the first place. What Clay does in his personal life is none of our business but I wish him well in whatever he chooses. I will continue to support Clay as I have by purchasing his CD's, watching his TV appearances and going to as many of his concerts as I can. He is such a good man and has done so much good with his Foundation and with UNICEF. How can anyone not admire such a man?

If a marriage licence were found, you can bet that the media would not report it. It would burst the gay bubble they blew up.

Crap, you were never a fan to start with. You are a stalker. You have Clay Aiken on your google alerts for the soul purpose of bashing him. All anyone has to do is visit one of his many fan boards to see that his fans are still thriving and happy. You've been saying that his career was crashing for the past five years. Now who is the deluded one?

poor deluded Claymates.. there is no marriage, a wedding licence is a matter public records.. if there was one it would be well known.. Beyonce and Jay Z had thiers public long before the secret wedding.. Idiots. And yes he has LOST fans.. Me included. there are not many fans cheering him on well... maybe the two or three he has left.
And it sure as HELL ain't gaining him new one's. Face it.. Clay's career is about to Crash and Burn .. He's put himself into Micheal jackson Creepiness territory and he'll NEVER live that down.

Clay wrote a song with the lyrics "the picture I've tried so hard to find, isn't mine." I think he is becoming more comfortable with who he is and decided to take this unconvential step with someone he trusts very much so he can be a father. I hope they are all blessed with good health and happiness.

You go Clay! Don't let anyone burst your bubble! It is your life! You live it the way you want as everyone else does! This will be one lucky baby to have you as the Father, loving, caring, a great teacher, I would love to be there to hear you sing him to sleep every night. You have not lost your fans, in fact you have gained more this year. Love your new album, it is fantastic.

The biggest kept secret: Clay and Jaymes have already been married. The baby news was leaked out before they could make the announcement, which was planned after the birth of their baby. As witnessed by many close friends, they are genuinely in love.
Furthermore, his fans are not sick over it, they are very happy for them and support them 100%.
