David Archuleta Signs Record Deal
No shocker here: David Archuleta has signed a record contract.
"Signing a record contract with 19 Recordings/Jive Records is truly a dream come true," Archuleta said in a statement. "I'm really excited to start working on everything."
The 17-year-old fan favorite - who finished second on American Idol this season to David Cook - already has three songs on the Hot 100 chart, including his rendition of "Imagine" and "In This Moment."
Look for Archuleta's debut album in the fall. In the meantime, catch the cutie on stage as part of The Idols Live Tour, which kicks off July 1 in Arizona.

David Cook is good but David Archuleta is the best singer and performer by a mile. Keep singing and smiling David the whole world is out there and millions of fans will be singing your praises for years to come.

i really luv him evan though you dont know someone an theres no point in liking them i still like him im not a fake person who would like him for his looks but mostly for his personalitie i mean he is such a pure person.. .

I adored David A and enjoyed each and every performance by him on AI. His talent is unique and there is something very special about this kid. I can't wait to buy his CD.
I was disappointed that David A did not win the AI title.
