Shayne Lamas Wins The Bachelor!
Chelsea had a good run, but as this Hollywood Gossip editor concluded in yesterday's Face-Off, Shayne Lamas was simply out of her league.
After 10 weeks, Matt Grant had narrowed the field down to two, and despite some tough moments with his family, it was an easy call - Shayne Lamas.
At the final rose ceremony, Chelsea was the first out of the limo, which is never a good sign. Matt told her she's amazing, and this experience would not be the same without her... BUT it's just not gonna work out long-term.
Upset at the rejection, Chelsea lashed out at Matt Grant and called Shayne "the fakest person" on The Bachelor. Matt wasn't pleased with this.
But he had more important business to attend to - like getting engaged! He tells Shayne Lamas that he came here for true love and found it with her. Matt then got down on one knee and shocked Shayne by proposing to her.
Shayne Lamas: Such a warm, caring, fame-seeking soul.
She happily answered yes. Lots of kissing and squealing followed. They said "I love you" approximately 74 times. Her hair was in her eyes. We cried a little.

I didn't hear anything about an After the Final Rose show, but they are still together. When he was at the Women Tell All show, he said he was very happily engaged.

I was so excited to see Shayne win! I thought she was beautiful and poised from the first show! Her style is impeccable! You go girl!!! I wish the happy couple all the best!

I think for someone from her background she is a down to earth girl. He made a good choice. I worked in retail and met the grandmother several years ago and lets say the blossom doesnt fall far from the tree. All the best for them.

what a most perfect choice matt made . shayne is so much better then the other girl , to compare them on human level, chelsea called shayne fake , you dont bad mouth cuz matt could see you transparent . shayne said to matt while parsailing that if she does not return she wish him and chelsea well. which shows the outmost classy character .that shayne posses and chelsea have non. there are million of good quality shayne has. chelsea is a cold fish. after matt found her while fishing for woman he cought the fish and then put it back in a sea , she is not worth his dinner.

I love both Matt and Shayne. I think they are perfect together. I was praying for you from the beginning Shayne. Matt you are soooo the perfect man. I was so happy when Matt chose Shayne. She was always at ease with him, she did not put on a show. He would have broken up with Chelsea after a month. She is a cold fish, she just wanted to win. Her visit to London was pitiful, she explained herself over and over again. Anything to just be the one. I wish Matt and Shayne a long and happy married life full of fulfilment.

Congratulations to the love birds! So happy for them. I was rooting for Shayne from day one. I am so surprised Chelsea called her fake as it was so clear to me that Shayne was the one being the most real with Matt! Ignore the haters you two and I can't wait to hear about the wedding! :)
