Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez really is becoming the new (hopefully cleaner) Miley Cyrus. She's rumored to be joining Hollywood Records.
That's Miley's record label!
"Hollywood Records really wants Selena," a source said.
"Nothing's signed yet, but they're going after her in a strong way."

Miley Cyrus currently has a four-album deal with Hollywood Records. Her sophomore CD, Breakout, is set for a summer release.

Selena Gomez is a sweet, humble, down-to-earth, talented girl with a beautiful, pure singing voice. Hollywood Records should most definitely sign her.
But this whole "Miley vs. Selena" stuff is getting ridiculous. They are both completely different girls and you guys need to stop making it seem as if their competing against each other, cause their not. Even though Selena will obviously win.

disney channel sucks. none of disneys people can act and they definitley can't sing.miley, selena, vanessa hudgens, ashley tisdale, everybody at disney, they cant act and they sing like wannabes. i especially hate when they try to do r&b, hip hop they need to leave that to people with real talent. hollywood will sign/disney channel will hire anybidy who is good looking, even if they have no talent, like these people. kids need unique role models to look up to, not cheap imitations. It makes me so sick that all the american society is concerned about is appearance I used to love disney but now it sucks just like nick. to everyone I mentioned before, i hope yor careers totally flop and/or you do something stupid to make everybody hate you as much as i do. or i hope they end up with loser adult lives like all those other former child stars

I agree Aliana all this Miley vs. Selena is stupid y'all need to stop eith it, they're are both two very different people in many different ways, but to be honest I don't think Selena will get as big as Miley, but hopefully she does.
But don't get me wrong she's a better role model than Miley Cyrus and she's better looking too, and a better actress too.

okay, this is some stupid crap. i'm not gonna lie. i mean, who even cares if they are competing? i totally agree with sarah. this is just stupid. honestly, this is the first i heard of it tonight. i saw something on myspace asking if selena was cuter than miley, but it's biased! they used terrible pictures of miley. and, all this, "oh, well, selena would be a better, cleaner role model" is just crap. SHUT UP. i mean, those could HARDLY be considered naked pictures. there's much worse crap out there from people who aren't famous. i mean, i understand that miley is a role model for a lot of young girls, BUT SO WAS BRITNEY SPEARS. and most of us from her generation grew up just fine!!!
so, uh, none of it really matters. just because there's a new girl on the block, no one needs to MAKE UP this crap. why should we even care??? they can both lead their own lives, i'm pretty sure. i'm sixteen and i can lead my own life! with that said, i'm done here.

Selena has an amazing singing voice and she's a fantastic actress-love her disney channel show-can't wait for a record deal! And i agree that the miley vs selena (and Demi) stuff is WAY out of control i think someone is so desperate for star news they're making stuff up!

selena better sign that record deal before they find out she sings about as well as every other teenage skank...meanwhile miley has the number one cd in the country (for the third time!!)
