Robert Knox, Harry Potter Actor, Stabbed to Death
Sad news out of London tonight:
Robert Knox, a British teenage actor playing a minor role in the upcoming Harry Potter movie, was stabbed to death during a brawl.
The 18-year old was fatally wounded after he was involved in a fight outside a bar in southwest London early Saturday, London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement. Word leaking out is that he was defending his younger brother.
Robert Knox, right, was tragically killed in a knife fight. The actor has a small role in the next Harry Potter movie.
In the upcoming Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, set for a November release, Knox plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby.
Reportedly, he was one of five young men taken to various hospitals following the brawl, police said. Among them was a 21-year-old who has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"Rob was kind and thoughtful and would always help out others- he would always spent his last penny on other people instead of himself," Knox's parents, Sally and Colin said in a statement Sunday. "The life and soul of the party, he was very outgoing loved sports and would always strike up conversation with people.
"He was respectful to others and adored by all his family and friends. He was an asset to the family."

the person that killed him must have been really sick, how could he kill him like that even when he was defending his brother, with his kind of future ahead he had everything to live for

Just a bit of infomation for you. He went to the same rugby club as someone else who was murdered two weeks ago.
There is a possibility that this attack was racially motivated vitcim being white. Do not quote me on this though, as I am still unsure myself.

my condolences to the family, i do hope that this violence with todays youth will come to an end. I do so hope that his death will not be in vain. everyone needs to know that there are consequences for their actions. the person who did this needs to be punished by the law. my heart does go out to the victims and the families of the victims in this crime

this was a massive shock to me as i met the guy a while back through my cousin who was good friends with him. he seemed like such a decent guy and you could tell he was really loved. i hate how this country has basically turned into america due to all the violence etc. the thing people should notice is that it always happens to really decent guys and girls who would do anything for anybody. its such a shame and a real waste. these people have so much going for them and then its snatched away in an instant just because idiot people dont have the slightest comprehension to what they are doing. people who take others lives clearly have nothing better to do which makes them extremely sad little people in my book. if they take pleasure in killing people, they need serious help. someone needs to take serious action against this because its going to come to the point where the streets are amok with maniacs and this countrys reputation is getting worse and worse because of it. i lost my brother to knife crime in 2006 and i know that the grief never heals, but i hope that it gets easier in time for his family. this guy didnt deserve to die and neither did all the others. rest in peace rob, god bless you and your family. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am extremely saddened by this trajic event. When young people are taken well before there due time over stupid and violent acts, it just hurts! Here in Miami, I read about it every day, although instead of knives everyone use guns! It seems like and epidemic. With declining moral values, violence on T.V. programing, cartoons, inhumane living conditions, failing economy, price of gas or petro. People loosing their jobs all over free market societies. It just seems that we are being desensitized to the point that it's happening so often, few people seems to care anymore. I know that if you dont have guns you can't shoot anyone, although you have the 1st amendment people yelling their right to bare arms and the politicians allowing them to have them for a vote. Give me a break! Same with knives, if you arent allowed to carry them or the laws are stiffened to punish those who do, so severe that nobody in their right mind will carry a knive. Only if we could turn our swords into plowshares and knives into pruning hooks. I know this wont bring that young boy back, so my prayers go out to his family.

Its too sad. Looking Like Nice guy but killing is totally shamefull for such country that have good laws. May God Bless his soul and forgive him!
