To Charlie who says something just wasnt right? Poor mutt wasnt happy, well BS, if that is the case then either work harder on the marriage or end it. There no sense in cheating. As for Mutt making Shania rich and famous, her time would have came with or without Mutt. No doubt he has gotten a nice share of money by so called making her what she is. Mutt I hope you marry this home wrecker and she takes you for a bundle.

Couple of thoughts here. #1. It doesn't take a Brain Surgeon, to see what BOTH of them saw in each other! He saw her looks and smoking-hot body! She saw $$$$! Pure and simple! Talk all the B.S. about they loved each other, if you want to. If you believe that, I got some really nice swamp land I wanna sell you.
It's funny you never see a woman, who looks like her, marrying a Ditch Digger! And you never see a man with his money, marrying a 300lb Maid!

Wow...such a brain drain figuring this one out huh? How does a guy "cheat" on one of the most beautiful women in the world? Perhaps she REFUSED to GIVE IT UP!?! Hello??? Men dont STRAY if they are getting what they need AT HOME...PERIOD. Shania is clearly FRIGID. Hot as he!! and COLD AS ICE! He saw someone who was probably interested in him and he went for it. Oh, please. All these people who proclaim Shania was "frigid" or "wasn't giving it up" and she CAUSED the infidelity are laughable. Some people are just serial cheaters. They could be married to someone who looks like Shania and gives it up every night, yet they still aren't happy. Mutt could just be a Mutt and he could want some strange.
None of us knows the real situation, but we do know these are people who are BOTH MARRIED and they are BOTH leaving their spouses as a result of their affair. That's just sleazy, any way you look at it. If you are "unhappy" in the marriage, and you have no interest in working on the marriage, just be honest with your partner and leave.

What do you all mean that Mutt "made" Shania what she is. She sure as hell paid her dues the hard way. Sure, he was an awesome producer. But remember, it wasn't just her looks that got his attention: It was her VOICE and the SONGS she sung for him over the phone as they became acquainted...yes, the songs that SHE wrote. Sooner or later, any good producer worth his salt would've hooked up with Shania professionally and her chance to make it would've come. Personally, had it been me, I would've had fun with the ugly weirdo, recorded killer songs, traveled the world and said "See ya babe, that's show business." But obviously she loved him. C'mon:14 years! That's not a golddigger. She earned her way. Period. And yes, now she will go on to make more great songs. May I suggest Tina Turner's producer.

Bottom line. All Mutt had to do was be honest and tell Shania that he wasn't happy in their marriage, instead of doing the nasty. Both people left their spouses to deal with such pain. Clearly, both Mutt and Slutt are selfish only thinking of themselves, and not their partners or children.

No matter how you all feel about Mutt Lange and this break-up, if you think Shania's career will ever see success equal to the last 13 years without him at the controls you are sadly mistaken. It is unfortunate but without him she's done.

I believe Mutt Lange was bored sitting at home waiting for Shania to bring home all the bacon. He decided to diddle the secretary/housewoman. They deserve each other, after all they both are ugly as sin.
Shania will be better off without him and will find someone who has respect for her.

It should have been a red flag to Shaina that the guys nick name was "Mutt", (Mongrel offspring of different breeds of DOGS). So from the beginning we know he was a DOG. Next, we knew he was ugly as mud AKA muddle meaning: not clear, or bright, confused, dull, and cloudy. What else do we know about "Mutt" (as his friends call him) by his behavior? We know he is a liar. We know he is a cheater. We know he has no character or integrity. Lastly, we know he does not know how to problem solve. If he knew how to problem solve he would have attempted to work out his concerns in his marriage instead of
boyishly running off leaving his family. There is no doubt that the "Mutt" strayed. Shaina, next time look for all the signs in the beginning..... the subtle ones and the obvious......like the guy whose nick name is.....DOG!

Mutt is a DOG, he seems to be the only one who thinks 'theyve grown apart". Isnt it interesting that the other part of the marriage (Shania)knew nothing of the growing apart? All he could say is its "unfortunate", what a whimp--he didnt have the test-----to ask her for counseling, divorce, anything but the way he did it. He'll be sorry.

I never knew why Shania married that guy; I always thought he was incredibly ugly. But now that I hear he cheated on her...HE cheated on HER...it makes me sick! I mean, he cheated on Shania Twain, for heaven's sake! Shania Twain! Someone who was very beautiful and could sing. Who did he think would be better? You don't see Tim Mcgraw or Garth Brooks (two men I find handsome) cheating on their wives, Faith Hill and Trisha Yearwood. You know why? Cause they're smart! Mutt Lange is STUPID! Shania deserved so much better than him.

I meet Shania Twain when she lived less than 15 minuets from my house in St. Regis Falls NY. Let me tell you something. She is a bitch. She is full of herself and is rude to everyone. Her husband was a down to earth nice person who lit up the room when he walked in. Just because she is very beautiful does not mean that she is a good person. She treated everyone as though they were beneith her and unemportant. Dont judge a book by its cover, it may have nothing of substance inside.

That song "youre still the one" was written for her parents, not mutt. Let's give Shania credit for these things, she raised her family on her own, certainly, she loved this man, who had much to do with her sucess, and is so hurt now. It just indicates, that none of us is exempt from heartbreak!?!!!! Noone is the good or bad guy here, but, for sure these truly wonderful talented people will resolve these issues, and unite for the sake of their son. They are both incredibly talented people, and will be fine.
