Former baseball star Roger Clemens is piling up humiliating extramarital affairs, as revealed in New York newspapers, like he used to with strikeouts!

Swinging, looking, the point remains the same: these women are going down (on Roger)! The only chick this guy strikes out with is wife Debbie!

Having already been outed as having had long-term affairs with both Mindy McCready and Angela Moyer, Clemens had a relationship with Paulette Dean Daly, a former wife of golfer John Daly, the Daily News says.

Clemens, a married father of four, arranged trips to Anaheim Stadium for Paulette Dean Daly to watch him pitch for the Yankees against the Angels.

Sources also said he spent time with her in Palm Springs, California.

Paulette Dean Daly (pictured, right, with ex-husband John Daly) met Roger Clemens at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a Palm Springs golf tournament she's been involved with for years. Guess we know why he waits until May to un-retire each season.

"Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends," Daly said.

She declined to elaborate on the specific nature of her relationship with the Cy Young winner, but did not deny the allegations from several sources that it was romantic and included financial support.

Asked if she was romantically involved with Roger Clemens, Daly said:

"You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. I'm just going to have to say, 'No comment.' I know Roger. I consider him a good friend."

"That's all I'm comfortable saying."

Moyer did not comment on her alleged affair with Clemens, while Mindy McCready said she "could not refute" a single detail of this week's reports.

In spite of her high-school crush's return on The Hills, Lauren Conrad has a new beau - Doug Reinhardt, 22, a minor leaguer for the Baltimore Orioles.

Not sure why Doug Reinhardt, who's hitting just .201 career in the minors, doesn't have baseball to play on May 1 - maybe he's injured? - but as long as LC likes him, and he's not a complete jackass, we'll give him a shot.

He's gotta be better than Josh McRoberts, right? Right. The new twosome took their romance public Wednesday, dining al fresco in Los Angeles. There may or may not have been 10 Hills cameras around them ...

Spencer Pratt is sticking to his story that the Jason Wahler-Lauren Conrad sex tape existed, even if it doesn't exist right now.

LC's ex, Jason Wahler said yesterday in a statement:

"I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist. Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention. Lauren Conrad is a close friend of mine and it is insulting to her to suggest this."

But Spencer Pratt, who said on the Tyra Banks Show late last week that he's 100 - nay, 1,000 - percent sure the tape existed, countered:

"Jason's statement couldn't be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, 'I DO not have a sex tape... one DOES not exist.'"

"We all know that it existed, that he tried to sell it and is now covering up to make himself look better," the smarmy Hills villain said.

Tell us, which of these jackasses from The Hills do you believe regarding the Lauren Conrad sex tape: Spencer Pratt or Jason Wahler?

In the June issue of Glamour, Jessica Simpson says she is "in love" with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, whom she says helped her gain more confidence.

She says she even wrote him a song, "Back in My Old Boots."

"He reintroduced me to myself," she says. "I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date."

"[Tony Romo] taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again," she adds.

Jessica Simpson dismisses critics who claimed she jinxed his career by showing up at one of his football games that he lost last year.

"Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous," she says. "I don't understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No."

Jessica Simpson says that Tony Romo first caught her eye while she was going through her messy divorce with Nick Lachey.

"My family and I were watching a Cowboys game ... and â€" Tony would die if I told you this â€" but [on TV there was a story] about him," she says. "They said his celebrity crush was Jessica Simpson."

"My family was like, 'Did you just hear that?'" she goes on. "His picture came up, and I'm like, 'He's really cute.' Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh!'"

They met a year-and-a-half later after a pal introduced Tony Romo to her pimp dad, Joe Simpson.

Larry Stein - the lawyer for Rob and Sheryl Lowe - issued a statement Wednesday denouncing the lawsuit filed by nanny Laura Boyce. (We don't know, Hillary Clinton, if he also rejected it.)

Stein lashed out at Boyce's attorney Gloria Allred, who also represents Jessica Gibson, the other nanny accusing the actor and his wife of sexual misconduct:

"Having struck out against Rob Lowe, Gloria Allred now seeks to drag his wife and children into the fray.

"In response to a lawsuit against Laura Boyce by the Lowes, Ms. Allred filed a cross-complaint on behalf of Boyce, which contains false allegations, in an apparent attempt to divert the negative publicity which Allred's client, Gibson, has universally received.

Okay, so she hasn't given birth to her little celebrity baby just yet, but Jamie Lynn Spears looked the part earlier this week she she and a friend hit a mall in McComb, Mississippi. They've got a stroller, people!

The rumors appear to be true: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are engaged.

Carey met the 27-year-old rapper/actor when he directed the video for her latest single, "Bye Bye," in late March.

An insider told Us Weekly that the romance was "hot and heavy," while Cannon has been quoted as saying he loves "everything" about Mariah.

Previously, Carey has been married to music mogul Tommy Mottola, while Cannon has been engaged to Selita Ebanks and seriously involved with Kim Kardashian.

For someone without an overwhelming voice, Brooke White survived for a long time on American Idol. This folk singer ought to be proud of her showing.

Last night, however, White faded to black on the series, as she was voted out following a pair of lackluster Neil Diamond renditions on Tuesday. Writing lyrics on her hand couldn't have helped, either.
