There are certain things The Hollywood Gossip staff never thought we'd see. Like someone cheating on Shania Twain.

There are other happenings within the entertainment news world that we saw coming 10 miles away. Like Daisy de la Hoya dating Dave Navarro.

These two were spotted coming out of a Hollywood club together this week. And while "dating" may not be the proper word to describe what's going on here, this is a family website. So we'll just say Daisy and Dave are headed back to his place for ice cream sundaes.

No Bret Michaels? No problem! Daisy de la Hoya has found another washed up rock star.

Forget the Sex and the City: The Movie.

Actor Chris Noth (aka "Mr. Big) is creating his own production called Baby and the City. He and four-month old Orion Christopher were spotter strolling along the sidewalks of New York City earlier this week.

All together now: AWWWW!

Adorable two-year old Henry rides high on his father's shoulders in the photo below.

There's no wondering about why this child is so cute, of course. His parents are Seal and Heidi Klum.

During an event in Cannes, Natalie Portman took to the red carpet in this one-strapped, ruffled ensemble.

No one on the planet can relate more to David Cook that last year's American Idol champion, Jordin Sparks.

After being in attendance at the show's finale and seeing Cook knock off David Archuleta for the title, Sparks offered the rocker one piece of important advice:

"Sleep as much as you can because you don't get any sleep. It's a year later and I still haven't gotten a whole eight hours of sleep yet … I'm still reeling from winning last year. But, I guess I would say just try and enjoy every moment you have.

They look absolutely thrilled to be together, don't they?

Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that the thin actress will soon be throwing her hat - or handbag, to be precise - into the celebrity fashion ring; she's set to launch her own collection of handbags.

"Mischa has always loved fashion, especially handbags," her rep told Elle, adding that the line will be vintage-inspired and finished by a flower motif hand drawn by Mischa herself.

We can barely contain our excitement over this news.

As David Cook continues to receive congratulations for winning season seven of American Idol, we've included a number of photos from last night's exciting finale.

Some sad news on the heels of an exciting American Idol finale:

Season seven finalist Luke Menard has been diagnosed with cancer.

According to a relative, a biopsy showed a mass to be a symptom of Stage Two Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer of the immune system.

Menard is currently back in his hometown of Crawfordsville, Indiana with his wife Lara; he's in treatment for the disease.

"He is surrounded by his family," the relative said. "They want to help him beat this and move on."

We wish Luke Menard a speedy recovery.

Weeks before David Cook and David Archuleta garnered all the American Idol buzz, former champion Fantasia was the talk of the show when she took the stage looking... like this.
