On their outing yesterday, the 26-year-old Nicole Richie was accompanied by rocker fiance Joel Madden and daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who turns four months old - how time flies - Sunday.

We’ve been critical of Nicole Richie in the past, but she and Joel make a really cute couple - and Harlow’s one of our favorite celebrity babies!

According to “Star,” Nicole Richie was at home alone with her child the other night when she learned that her fiancé, Joel Madden, had been spotted partying with Lindsay Lohan. Richie was reportedly reduced to tears, and it must be assumed that her child could only sit and watch helplessly as her mother lost control. It is unknown whether this was the first time Richie’s four-month-old daughter witnessed her mother’s face wrenched with anguish. Hopefully, she’s still too young to look into that pain and think, “One day I’ll feel what mommy feels.”
