Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo: Break-up Confirmed!

After much speculation, it's confirmed that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have split. This time, we don't suspect he'll take her back either.

"Tony dumped Jessica," a source told Us. "Of course, she's upset!"

When we saw Tony Romo putting the moves on some girl named Lindsay, we figured it was over. The biggest reason for the break up?

"This Jen-John Mayer thing is eating her up, and she can't handle it â€" and Tony basically had enough," a Simpson pal said. "She's too much to handle."

As we reported earlier this week, the day Jennifer Aniston and Mayer - yet another famous Jessica ex - went public as a couple, she went on a binge that left her so drunk and out of it, she called her mom for a ride.

Is there a chance this on-again, off-again pair may reunite?

"He's broken up with her before, but I don't know if they'll get back together this time," a source close to Tony Romo said.

Just last month Jessica Simpson was referring to Tony Romo as her "future husband" and he was seen ring-shopping.

Maybe he just didn't want to go to the Pete Wentz-Ashlee Simpson wedding tomorrow. You have to get a gift, and it's a huge pain.

In the June issue of Glamour, the singer revealed that she wrote Tony a song called "Back in My Old Boots."

"He reintroduced me to myself," Simpson said. "I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date."
