you should be ashamed. jason castro has done so much at such young age, charity and singing career wise. so stop producing these kinds of issues. I'm forever a Jason fan no matter what

i think that jason has been high before. I mean, there is a pic on my fan site of him with smoke bellowing out of his mouth so...yea. :) lol. and like, that one night on american idol he was so stoned you could tell. But i love him to death and i don't care if hs a stoner or not. Lol. The good thing is is that hes a Christian tho, thats the only thing.

If he had ever been high, he would have said so. Carly vouched for him in her interviews a few weeks ago. She asked Jason point-blank if he had ever even tried marijuana and he said no. People assume because he is so chill and happy that he is a stoner. Jason is a actually a devout Christian and a scholarship winner (1340 on the SAT's) to Texas A & M, bu I gess people don't find those facts very interestng.

I believe jason. I have been watching replay marathon of AI's season 7 and i think he is really charming. MTV should do a reality show of him doing an album or something. he looks good on t.v..

PLEASE COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER TO TALK ABOUT. THE GUY IS NOT ON DRUGS OF ANY KIND. YOU'D THINK ALL YOU HOLLYWOOD TYPES WOULD RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN KIND. WHETHER YOU KNOW IT OR NOT- THE PUBLIC IS READY FOR JASON. ALL YOU TV PEOPLE SEEM TO THINK YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE WANT. NOT SO. OUR CHOICES CAN ONLY BE BASED ON WHAT IS OFFERED. When I saw him few times I thought, this is the deal that AI need this year, marketing, marketing, marketing! I think the judge were frustrate because of this, can't get him go through top 3 which I was predicted to my son that this year going to be DA,DC&JC, they need for the market and JC is 1000% perpect for this! His semifinal made me sad, and final made me sick and confuse after judged, when result show it was reliefe and I keep laughing on his last perform till now. unbelievable fun kid.

I resent the stereotype that because Jason has dreadlocks, he is automatically someone who is always high.

I was watching one of the many Idol re-cap shows and Justin Guarilini, (sp?) the Season 2 runner-up, was commenting on this issue. His claim is, is he has very reliable resources who say Jason is NOT "a stoner". Based on the direction of the conversation, this was not something he necessarily needed to volunteer - ie: it didn't seem like it was mentioned just for media's sake. So to me, I'd like to think Jason is just one of those guys who is truly at peace with who he is, not having to put on airs and needing to tune out reality by relying on substances. Love his spirit!

Jason said it and he is not one to lie. If this were a lie someone he went to college with would have said so by now! I only hear good things about Jason from people who know him. I wish him the best with his music career-we need more people like him in music today-genuine, caring and humble-thats Jason Castro.

Ok, listen, just because you're laid back and calm doesn't mean you're a stoner. that was bad timing and seriously, how many times have you ever had a picture taken of you at a bad time, or that caught you off guard?

I totally believe Jason has never been high. He is a very laid back guy and not the usual uptight Idol hopeful. I agree with his comments about stereotyping also. Rock on Jason! He will end up the biggest star of this season is my prediction.
