With Britney Spears embroiled in a seemingly never-ending custody battle and Jamie Lynn Spears expecting her first child in July, the May 2 wedding and baby shower for the latter provided some much-needed relaxation and fun!
"It was wonderful to be able to spend some time with her and just be girls again," Jamie Lynn Spears told OK! Magazine in an exclusive interview about seeing her train wreck big sister for the first time in months.
"We painted our nails and did stupid stuff."

Jamie Lynn, who has been laying low in their hometown of Kentwood, La., since Casey Aldridge knocked her up, was thankful for her privacy.
"To be able to be here in the privacy of our own home and just be sisters again was wonderful," she said.
Mother-of-two Britney Spears shared some words of wisdom - if you can call it that with a straight face - with her pregnant sibling.
"She told me, 'There are going to be some long nights, but it is completely worth it,'" Jamie Lynn Spears recalled.
As for whether or not the pop superstar will make it back home to Louisiana when Jamie Lynn has the baby, the teen star isn't sure. Yet.
"Nothing is set in stone, but that would be wonderful. I'd love to have her here for that, but you can't plan that far ahead," she said.
Even if Britney Spears isn't there in person for her younger sister, the two are in almost-constant contact, says Jamie Lynn.

Congrats to Jamie! your baby is beautiful! and don't worrie about what other people say bout u having a baby at 16 b/c my cuz just had a baby and she was 14. So hope everything works out with the family!
