i think it is up to jamie-lynne if she is ready to kids, my personal choice is i wouldnt have a baby at 16 but if she is going to look after it properly and give the baby the care it needs, there is nothing wrong with it.

i dont understand why everyone makes such a big deal about her being 17 & having a baby. its not like shes the first girl to get pregnant at 16!! plz . . i kno a girl who just turned 17 & just had her 2nd baby!! atleast this girl has the money to give that baby everything he/she needs. i say, congrats to jamie lynn. shell def have a beautiful baby.

Alright, I dont know what kind of sex ed and human body education the person who wrote this story has had.. But NORMALLY when a woman gets pregnant her belly grows. Dont need to be warning the teens.. She is of an average size, and you are supposed to gain 30 or so pounds during a pregnancy. I was 17 when i had my daughter.. I am a full time mom, i also work full time and im a student.. you all do not have the right to judge her OR anyone else who is a teen mom. Ive seen people OLDER than me who are doing a lot worse. I think the baby will be average in size.. and it will be a beautiful baby..

Im 18 2 n i had a baby when i was 17 bout a week later i turned 17..But im happy 4 her n my daughter means the world to me n her son or daughter will make her happy 2

I think that media does this to the celebs...... they feel so pressured...... and it doesn't help when you have other influences on you. This happens to young girls everyday..... my cuz was 13 and had a baby! Just leave the girl alone and let her live her life! She has been handling this maturely and all of those other comments were uncalled for!

getting pregnant at a young age sucks. im 15 and on may 15 i gave birth to my daughter kirsten. i love my daughter and i would do anything for her . when i was pregnant i had my family and friends behind me and so does jamie. i wasnt thinking straight when i had sex jamie lynn probably wasnt thinking straight either. jamie has people who love her and thats all that counts so just leave her alone.
