David Archuleta's voice reminds me of the Disney song "Its A Small World After All". It is redundant & gets really sickening very very fast. All we heard from David Archuleta was one boring ballad after the last one, that all sounded the same, with that irritating hollow nasal sound. Its true, David Archuleta seemed to always be on the edge of a nervous breakdown forgetting the lyrics & trying to please his overbearing stage daddy like some kind of puppy. That is definitely not "Star Quality".

I was so happy when David Cook won & David Archileta LOST. David Cook's voice is so much more soothing to the ear. David Archileta's voice always sounded the same & got really boring really fast. Too bad David Archileta's Star Search career NEVER took off & he is still doing talent contests. If David Archileta would have won, I would have never watched American Idol ever again.

David Archuleta should have win, he's got the sweatest, and the most tender voice ever. On the other hand, David Cook is a clear copy of Nickleback, Creed, Lifehouse, and a lot more, he's nothing out of the ordinary. It's a shame to let other countries know that the United States of America is loosing its' musical ear, and that of course they're becoming mentally ill. DAVID ARCHULETA, YOU RULE BABY, YOU WON BEFORE THAT COMPETITION WAS EVEN OVER, YOU'RE AMAZING DUDE. KEEP IT UP!!!!

David Archuleta still needs to finish school and he's still young so he sitll has a whole lotta stuff ahead of him. David Cook is going to have a better career than David A for sure. The only place david archuleta is going to be famous is on disney channel....

i think david archuleta is the big winner because he has worked really hard for it. he is young and vibrant, he could impress the crowd with one song. david cook is also talented but i think for me david a. will sell more records than he is. david a has a charisma empowering the youth, giving us inspiration that no matter how young we are or no matter how old a person is doesn't make a difference as long as he had given his all. a good heart always win and that is david archuleta

I hope Cook wins. Either one of these guys will have a career if they desire. I believe Cook will go farther with his than Baby Face. Cook is hot, original and can sing. Baby Cook looks like he is on the verge of a breakdown.

I am thinking that Arculeta will win the title, but Archuleta has a good voice, but may I remind you, that Cook has NEVER forgotten his lyrics during a perfomance, and he's been original from the beginning.
And yes, He does sing with passion. His Brother is suffering with cancer and you can hear it coming straight from his heart in "the world I know".
Especially at the part where he sings "and I laugh at myself as the while the tears roll down"...you can really hear it.
Lindsey Rose, a girl with lukemia, sent an orange braclet to him because he was her favorite contestant. And you can see it on his wrist every night. He has sooo many supporters, and no matter what happens...Win or loose, David Cook will still be loved by MANY.

i think david archuleta and david cook are amazing and it is really hard to choose because i like rock and hiphop and slow so it's a tough desision but last nite simon kept winking to david cook so i don't trust the finals tonite eighter way I LOVE DAVID ARCHULETA !!!!!

I don't think it really matters who wins. Either way David Cook will end up with a better and longer career. He's got personality and style. David A is BORING with a Michael-Jackson-girly voice. And I just have to say that I cannot stand his fake "oh my God" tears everytime he is paid a compliment. How can someone like that handle attention, fame, concerts, etc. ? Is he going to need to take his hanky on stage with him? C'mon, the kid freaked out when he saw his own high school's cheerleaders. I think he needs to grow up a little.
Sorry DA fans. He might win the AI title - but it won't last. He can't handle it.

First off, David Archuleta is annoying. He acts surprised everytime he gets a good compliment, like please, that really gets old. All he can sing are ballets, he has NO personality.
David Cook was orginial from the beginning, doubt that he doesn't have the better voice, he changes up his songs and he has a great personality.
DC should win, and I hope he does.

THE THING THAT TROUBLES ME MOST ABOUT THIS YEARS IDOL IS THAT THE JUDGES ARE SOOOO CRAZY ABOUT D ARCHULETA. WITH THEIR COMMENTS LAST NIGHT THEY PRETTY MUCH HANDED THE TITLE TO HIM. NO DOUBT HE IS A GREAT SINGER. HOWEVER THIS IS THE AMERICAN IDOL AND THE BOY HAS ZERO STAGE PRESENCE, AND PROVED ON A COUPLE OCCAISIONS THAT HE CANNOT SING ANYTHING OTHER THAN BALLADS. D COOK ON THE OTHER HAND, IS A MUSICIAN AND WITH THAT KNOWS HOW TO WORK WITH THE ARRANGEMENTS OF ANY SONG THAT HE IS GIVEN TO PUT SOME ORIGINALITY INTO IT. HE SHOWED A DIVERSE RANGE OF SONGS, INCLUDING MARIAH CAREY, MICHAEL JACKSON AND MOST IMPRESSIVELY THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SONG, SINGING ALL OF THEM MEASTERFULLY. David Cook all the way. Archie is sweet, but I find myself drifting off when he takes the mike. Everything from him sounds the same - love songs and ballads can get a little boring. I know he's cute, but Cook is hot!
