I still like and love Cook even if he win or lose. But really he going to win instead of the younger David.

I want Cook to win. He deserves it and was original all the way through to the end. I thought David A would have gotten a bit of criticism for re-singing Imagine.
I don't think the "rounds" were anywhere as far off as the judges made it sound. They had their mind up that there was more money to be made from David A. win than DC.
I think they shouldn't even allow the judges to speak in that last show. Their comments sway votes in a big way.
I hope DC wins but I think its gonna be DA...

I am pulling for Cook. While both are awesome and will do wonderful, I feel that Cook has made the most progression and grown in this competition. Imagine what a year of real coaching will do. Move over Daughtry... here comes David Cook.

DC was obviously straining really hard last night, and I'm not sure if he has the vocal capasity for this business. He almost lost his voice by the end of the night, and I couldn't listen to him without cringing. DA, however, has one of the purest tones I've heard from any of the AI winners. He sang right from the heart, and I think he connected with a lot of people last night, me included. Having goosebumps from listening to someone over the TV is something that usually would not happen to me, but it happened last night every time DA sang. He's amazing, and I don't think it's in anyone's best interest to call him a fag. If you have a comment I think you should think it out before you write it, calling him a fag just makes you look stupid, and only other stupid people agree with you. And anyway, if he were a fag, he would be my boyfriend, : )

Well, I'm definitely rooting for David Cook! Have been for awhile, so I'm really hoping he wins.
Based on the judges comments though, I've got a really strong feeling Archuleta's gonna win.
No matter, I'm sure David Cook will do well either way. And well, everyone knows, the runner-up usually ends up doing better than the actual winner anyway. : D

Archuleta has a pure voice and one that I would buy his CD. Although David Cook has been a great performer, I feel like his vocal range is limited. My vote is with Archuleta for the next AI.

Unforunatley, i think that DA is gonna win, but i feel that it is only for his looks. DC should win because his voice is fanominal and outstanding! I've been a DC fan since day one and i need and want him to win. Eventhough they are going to get record deals, it would be better for all if Cook won and Archuleta came in runner-up becuase he is too young and still needs to finish school and all of that! but hey, everyone has their own aopinioon!

In my mind, the question should be "who's going to sell more albums?" and my money's on Cook all the way. I love the sound of his voice, and the way he handles his music. DA has an amazing voice too but the kid needs a lil growing up to do, and a lil more to learn from life before anything he sings sounds like it means anything.

i love DAVID COOK! his a great performer! David Archuleta performs like a gay! and he's an amateur singer! he always sings boring songs...i wonder why people love it.....DAVID COOK is so original and very talented...he sings like a professional....and even if he lose...he'll have a greater career than archuleta...because he's not boring unlike David A.....i've watched ellen D.'s show the episode where she interviewed simon...and she too..likes david cook....i'm telling you guyz....David Cook Rockz!

david a. might win the competition but...hey! let's get real! it's obvious! david cook....sings better....david a.'s voice is like others so usually heard....carly smithson's voice is better than david a.'s......what a big loser david a is! don't argue with me....co'z thats the truth....and hey! the truth will set you free! after american idol you'll simply forget about david a. because his singing career will not go any further...and that's for sure! wahahahahahahaa!

David Cook should win.....he's been more consistent than the "other David". Plus, all David A. can sing are love songs and ballads. He chokes on everything else. Not to mention how his dad has been pimping him for years.

David Cook all the way. Archie is sweet, but I find myself drifting off when he takes the mike. Everything from him sounds the same - love songs and ballads can get a little boring. I know he's cute, but Cook is hot!

THE THING THAT TROUBLES ME MOST ABOUT THIS YEARS IDOL IS THAT THE JUDGES ARE SOOOO CRAZY ABOUT D ARCHULETA. WITH THEIR COMMENTS LAST NIGHT THEY PRETTY MUCH HANDED THE TITLE TO HIM. NO DOUBT HE IS A GREAT SINGER. HOWEVER THIS IS THE AMERICAN IDOL AND THE BOY HAS ZERO STAGE PRESENCE, AND PROVED ON A COUPLE OCCAISIONS THAT HE CANNOT SING ANYTHING OTHER THAN BALLADS. D COOK ON THE OTHER HAND, IS A MUSICIAN AND WITH THAT KNOWS HOW TO WORK WITH THE ARRANGEMENTS OF ANY SONG THAT HE IS GIVEN TO PUT SOME ORIGINALITY INTO IT. HE SHOWED A DIVERSE RANGE OF SONGS, INCLUDING MARIAH CAREY, MICHAEL JACKSON AND MOST IMPRESSIVELY THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SONG, SINGING ALL OF THEM MEASTERFULLY. I WILL AGREE THAT ARCHULETA'S VOICE IS MORE SOOTHING, HOWEVER THE STYLE OF MUSIC HE WOULD EXCEL AT SINGING IS MORE IN THE LINE OF JOSH GROBAN OR ANDREA BOCELLI (WHO BTW HE IS NO WHERE CLOSE TO IN DEGREE OF TALENT AS EITHER ONE) AND SADLY THEY ARE NOT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY'S BLOCKUSTERS. IF ARCHULETA DOES WIN, IT WILL BE BECAUSE THE LARGE % OF THE VOTING POPULATION IS PRE TEEN TO TEEN GIRLS WHO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO SUBMIT COUNTLESS VOTES THROUGH THE EVENING. I WILL BE ANXIOUS TO SEE WHO HAS THE BETTER CAREER 2-3 YEARS FROM NOW...CAN ANYONE SAY RUBEN STUDDARD OR TAYLOR HICKS.

First off, David Archuleta is annoying. He acts surprised everytime he gets a good compliment, like please, that really gets old. All he can sing are ballets, he has NO personality.
David Cook was orginial from the beginning, doubt that he doesn't have the better voice, he changes up his songs and he has a great personality.
DC should win, and I hope he does.

I don't think it really matters who wins. Either way David Cook will end up with a better and longer career. He's got personality and style. David A is BORING with a Michael-Jackson-girly voice. And I just have to say that I cannot stand his fake "oh my God" tears everytime he is paid a compliment. How can someone like that handle attention, fame, concerts, etc. ? Is he going to need to take his hanky on stage with him? C'mon, the kid freaked out when he saw his own high school's cheerleaders. I think he needs to grow up a little.
Sorry DA fans. He might win the AI title - but it won't last. He can't handle it.

i think david archuleta and david cook are amazing and it is really hard to choose because i like rock and hiphop and slow so it's a tough desision but last nite simon kept winking to david cook so i don't trust the finals tonite eighter way I LOVE DAVID ARCHULETA !!!!!

I am thinking that Arculeta will win the title, but Archuleta has a good voice, but may I remind you, that Cook has NEVER forgotten his lyrics during a perfomance, and he's been original from the beginning.
And yes, He does sing with passion. His Brother is suffering with cancer and you can hear it coming straight from his heart in "the world I know".
Especially at the part where he sings "and I laugh at myself as the while the tears roll down"...you can really hear it.
Lindsey Rose, a girl with lukemia, sent an orange braclet to him because he was her favorite contestant. And you can see it on his wrist every night. He has sooo many supporters, and no matter what happens...Win or loose, David Cook will still be loved by MANY.
