David Cook is riding high.
Not only has the rocker captured this season's American Idol title, but he's secured himself a cute date: former contestant Kimberly Caldwell.

Kim Caldwell is annoying. she's grown a big head since making it thru a few steps of AMIdol and her popularity is due to 'nothing but the fact that she did somehow make it thru a few steps' of the very popular AMERICAN Idol. Since her elimination, can anyone seriously tell me, "What does this girl have to offer us in the entertainment field?!"
uh...um...well...from what I gather, the answer is "Nothing". Oh--except for, "a big mouth, a fake appearance and personality--and alot of nothing" (for 'my' money). She can go back to her real day job as far as that's concerned..."What was her real day job before this LUCKY break anyhow?!" I know for sure that luck ain't based on talent--Kimberly Caldwell is living proof!

Love David Cook...however, I am extremely wary of Kimberly Caldwell. I don't hate her (to tell you the truth, when I ignore the fact that she's dating him, I actually enjoy her music), but the way she presents herself on TV rubs me the wrong way. Who knows...it could be just an act and she could probably be a very nice person. I am not denying that she's pretty, but I think David can do much better than her.
I personally wouldn't be unhappy if they broke up (then again, most people probably wouldn't be unhappy either), but if they did, I hope that it isn't on bad terms and that they'll at least remain as friends.

Guys, no need to worry about this relationship. Kim is known to hit on one male contestant every single season. Last year it was Chris Richardson, and David Cook was just stupid enough to fall for her trick. in all the pictures of them together, Kim is yelling at David or they both look pissed. David wants to keep this low-key, but if you saw DC after SNL, he hid from the paps while Kim was waving to them. She's with these contestants to get some fame...she doesn't love David. I just don't think David understands what she's doing to him. Give it until January.

i LOVE david and i cant belive he choose her out of every girl in america. i mean he could date any girl he wants cause look at him. he is HOTT!! i think should have dated a girl that was his friend before american idol. she is just is NOT his type and trust me, i know all about his type!! i think he should dump her and stay single because he will always be loved. now i know i dont stand a chance with david but i still love him!! lol!!!

dislike her. Not hate, i do not know her for me to say i HATE her. SHe just comes off to me as annoying and obnoxious. I really find it that she's only going to use him for fame, or money, and it makes me ill just to think of it!. If he's happy with her then HEY! what can we do right? Besides it's not like they're gonna get engaged or anything, and if they DO. I'll find it in myself to NOT try and kill her :]
Extra note: IF she DOES come to my stop for the tour.. I'll be prepared with my long claws of fury ;]
