David Cook Album, Kindness News
David Cook is a busy man.
The American Idol winner is working on his debut album, aiming for a fall release for what ought to be a well-selling rock CD.
"David Cook is an extraordinarily versatile and talented artist with an impressive sense of musicality," said Tom Corson, Executive Vice President and General Manager, RCA Music Group. "He is a natural performer and a true star. We are thrilled to welcome him into our family."
Cook won't be able to relax much as he records this album. He'll be on tour all summer with David Archuleta, Brooke White and company as part of the American Idol's Live extravaganza; it begins July 1.
Meanwhile, David took a break from all things business this week when he visited season seven performer Luke Menard in the hospital. Menard has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
"I love Luke and I just wanted to show up and make sure that he understood that I love him and know that if there's anything I can do for him and his wife, sign me up," Cook said.

he's certainly proven himself to be a great performer (besides being competitive)... I'm thinking his new CD will be worth getting for sure

Wow,um,David,I never really suspected you as the winner of American Idol but when you did win i realized that you truly were a great singer and a wonderful,cool,amazing person,so David,I want you to just stay on the straight and narrow for your fans and be the best you can be!!!

I just want to let David Cook know that he is a strong, courageous, young man with a big heart. He cares for Luke like no other! He is being a true friend! I am also very proud on his accompishments with winning idol and working on a rock album. But, I don't think he should be dating now! David needs to be more focused on his music career rather than romance. Love will come someday, but right now he needs to be more like Carrie and be focussed on his music, because I can't wait for his new album. Remember, there is more than one fish in the sea. David doesn't need to worry about a relationship, he needs to be totally focussed on music. Stay friends with Kimberly Caldwell!!

I am so glad that David won AI!! He is such a tanented aritst!! His pre-idol music is awesome!! I love Analog Heart and all of Axium's music! I do believe he is a musical genuis. He not only wrote the songs, but sang them as well. (Played guitar, also!) Not only is he a great musician,but he is a wonderful, caring person. I am glad he got to see Luke Menard. David is a kind soul and I wish him the best success in his future endeavors!

There's way more than one song with MWK--there's an EP. Check it out. I've been a fan and friend of MWK and Dave for a while now, so yeah...perhaps I'm biased--but that EP was amazing.

I have listened to most of DC's on-line music. Liked it all, especially the one song with Midwest Kings tune. Hope to hear new stuff ASAP; love this guy
