OK so the baby boy is here. Congrats to both mother and father, whatever their sexual preferences are...none of our business cause who are we to judge anyone else?
I have read all the posts and to say the very least, some of you are really crude...especially when it comes to voice your opinion of other people, who you do not know personally. Artificial insemmination occurs every day and it is a great blessing to many who cannot conceive the old fashioned way.

It's a cover up. He doesn't want anyone to know he is gay, so he has to make this whole story up. It probably isn't his kid, I bet you... she is just doing him a favor and saying, "yeah, he is the father." Oh, how so pathetic. Well, that is hollywood/or whatever you want to call it for you. Stupid!

ok once and for HE"S GAY! and regardless wether or not yu wan to believe is problem. and to if he went the AI way so what, and just because he's having a child does not mean that he's trying to prove he's straight! Gay people can have children to by any means the old fashion way or not!and for goodness sake the man is not repulsive. They both problably wanted kids and are best friends and decided this was a great idea. So you know what? CONGRADUALTIONS to botht of them and leave them the hell alone!

The only mistake that I see that the young man has made, is to put himself"out there" in the public eye. Those of you who are mean enough to get on a public forum and run your mouth about him and I am sure plenty of other people, are probably extremely bored and couldnt find a man who would waste their sperm on you , or wouldnt accept your sperm for donation if they wanted to produce a child capable of walking upright instead of on their knuckles. I dont know, nor do I care if the lady is 40, 50, heck she may be 80. I dont care if Clay is gay or straight, neither go home with me at night, so I have no reason to worry either way. Show a little class, I have found that if I take the time to mind my own business as I need to do, I seldom have the TIME to mind anyone elses.

Oh, for Christ sakes! Get over it already! Regardless of anybody's feelings, a healthy baby has just been born and already some of you are out to get him just because of who his parents are! Admittedly, the circumstances surrounding the conception and birth are a little strange (i.e., mother's age, Clay's alleged personal beliefs regarding out of wedlock children), but he's the one who has to live with it, not us!

I work in the infertility field...woman in their late 40s are not getting pregnant with their own eggs. Probably an egg donor (in vitro procedure) & Clay's donation = embryo which was transferred to surrogate Jaymes to carry. No simple insemination here.

Clay has a wonderful personality and that is what shines in my eyes. We all have FLAWS that we think is no more stinkier than whoevers lol
Some of us, being, PURE... LOL, has so much faults and flaws, and being straight, what could we possiably contaminate a childs mind???? I am just a ole fashion granny here, but, i also see the wonderful personality the man has, regardless of what he has stated.

Clay and Jaymes are old enough to be able to think through this. Although, the confusing thought process to bring a child into the world in this manner is sad for the child. He'll be brought up to this this is normal...and it's not. They are free to do it....but, the confusion I've seen in kids raised like this compared to mine and others who are raised "traditionally" is the different in night and day. I'm talking about real peace within themselves....not just defensive talking in relation to the lifestyle.
All very lovely people....but, very sad state of mind.

Instead of artificially inseminating her, he sounded have bitten the bullet, closed his eyes, pretended she was a he and boinked her. Could have saved a few bucks. Who knows maybe he would have enjoyed riding her.

They didn't "Do It". They just artificially had Clay Aiken's sperm transfered into Jaymes. Their relationship is strictly friendship.
He IS Gay.
Hes admitted it.
Hes also said how hes not going to raise a child just so he can hide it,
but because he genuially wanted a child,
and I see nothing wrong with that.
