If I had been unable to have a child after a long marriage, as Jaymes apparently did, and the only way was artificial insemination, I couldn't think of a nicer man to be my babies Daddy. Clay Aiken is a talented guy, and a darned good and kind one at that, so to all of you who can only criticize..... please just SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!!! Love you Clay

Thanks, kh, for saying what needed to be said about women of a certain age needing to be artificially inseminated. It happens a lot after the age of 40. So let's just wish them all the best, whatever the arrangement might be.

I have always been a huge fan of Clay and find him to be very SEXY and, of course, extremely talented. I heard him say on an interview once that he was going to say he "was not gay and he would never again discuss his sexuality." I never believed he was gay, he, also, stated in that interview "the rumor started because he was not a womanizer when he was on Idol." Eventho he did not state it, the impression was this was not the case for some or even most. I admire him for his character. I think his standards were very high for a partner and perhaps that is why he was compatible with someone a little more mature. She is very beautiful and I would venture to say because of Clay's high standards, she is beautiful inside and out. He seems to have the greatest respect for his Mother and I think that is a good indication of how men will treat women when they are grown. He is a southern boy with great values, as the song What do you think about that? by Montgomery Gentry goes "Don't judge me and I won't judge me because we all get judged in the end" states (bring up the lyrics and maybe you can relate if you are strong and mature enough). Congratulations to both Clay and Jaymes. This child will have some major talent coming from the genes of the David Foster family and Clay Aiken.

WOW that's great and for the record, Clay Aiken is NOT gay! he's a talent that has evolved the last 5 years and he has an enormous singing voice and heart. The best to Clay and Jaymes. As family oriented with his mother and grandmother as he is, he would never undertake such a responsibility as being a father casually! Afterall, i don't think his real father was a role model.....let's just be happy for this wonderful guy and give him some peace in his life and just support him! He's NOT gay, but if he were would it take away from his generous spirit towards the Bubel-Aiken foundation or Unicef? Would it take away from the entertainment value he presents when on stage? Does it take away from his kind heart or overpowering voice?

So what if this gay guy decided to have an OLDER woman carry his child. It is very obvious to me this was artificial insemination, or the woman is blind, or she got blind drunk. Because, damn!! he is so ugly. He reminds me of a gay howdie doodie.

If this is what Clay wants to do then good for him. The situration does remind me of Michael Jackson in how the rumors were that all of his children were conceived by artificial insemination. I have a hard time believing they tried to conceive naturally and since they both want children, then they are lucky that modern medicine can make it happen.

who cares what is preference is that shouldnt matter if she whats to help him have a child then that makes her a great woman and as far as how she got that way that shouldnt matter either .he is a gentle young man and she is a wonderful woman and im sure this child will grow up to be something only some of us dream being . i will always respect them either way more people should judge people for whats in there heart not for who they sleep with . why cant this world grow up if we were as hard on people in jail as we are on gay people then maybe there would be less people in jail

Clay is the biggest closet case in this modern day and age. Its so sad that he cannot be comfortable with himself & his sexuality to just come out for who he really is. Having a child does NOT make anyone straight. Its all about maintaining his fan base in backward places like Wyoming & Nebraska. I think it is just plain sick when wannabe entertainers resort to using their reproductive organs to strike up an ongoing deal to promote their careers. Example: Berry Gordy & DIana Ross. The sick part is: Who would ever want a child with someone as repulsive as Clay Aiken aka Mary Grace. Obviously Jaymes Foster is a very mentally sick, desperate woman & Clay is just as sick in trying to prove he is straight. Too bad he couldn't get it up long enough to get her preggy the good old fashioned way, like most straight people do. I really feel sorry for the innocent child thats on the way.

This is just plain sick. It is so sad what Hollywood and fame makes people do to prove they are something other than who they really are. Anyone who cannot plainly see that Clay Aiken is a total FAGGOT needs to get their head examined. It is scary to think what this child will have to endure growing up having unmarried parents, all because its father is GAY.

I personally know openly gay guys in Raleigh N. Carolina that say they have had sex with Clay Aiken. They say he is a bottom, in other words: he likes being on the receiving end of the stick. They said he was such a flaming queen that they couldn't stand to be around him much & only used him for quick sex. They say he wears way too much mascara and foundation.

Yeah, sure, Jenny, & I'm dating George Clooney. It's very easy to say crap like that. That's why scum sites like TMZ & Perez Hilton have so many ridiculous stories - it's fiction! And braindead losers like you eat it up like candy. Jaymes is a very sweet, pretty lady & she's been close to Clay - heck, living with him at times - for nearly 3 yrs now. This news doesn't surprise me one bit. He's always said he wanted desperately to be a father. The guys's a teacher of special needs kids, for pete's sake! He shines whens he's interracting with children. He'll make a great dad & Jaymes knows it.

I can't believe how many ugly people there are in the world, no wonder the world is in such a bad way. Clay is an amazing person, both in his professional life and his personal life and what he does in his personal life is his business. I will always be a fan of Clay's and believe what I hear out of his mouth only. He said he was not gay so he is not gay and I never thought he was gay. If he says he is the baby's father then I will believe it and trust that Clay knows what he is doing and it will be ok. So you ugly people out there that have nothing better to do than believe everything you hear from rag magazines, go read a good book.

In every show Clay talked about Jaymes Foster ,he also wanted to dance with her in Kanada during a tour in front of everybody, they propably fall in love and tried old fashion way, and because of her age she needed a artifical insemination. Love doesn't know age!

can people actually be so ignorant in this day and age to say what straight man would inseminate a woman. for heavens sake people it happens daily. Men can't get their women pregnant for whatever reason, women can't get pregnant for many reasons. many people use insemination as a means of getting a child they wouldn't otherwise be able to have. she is older and probably has had trouble conceiving. give the man a freakin break. my gosh he said he is not gay. why do you all have to continue on with this crap. even if he is WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MATTER. GET A LIFE. THIS IS A DECENT HUMAN BEING WHO DID NOTHING TO YOU ALL.

Some of you make me sick....Why on Earth kick Clay for wanting a gift from God? My husband and I were in our mid 40's when we decided we wanted a child, well the only way for me to conceive was through what Jayme and Clay did....the haters here much be teens and have no clue how cruel life can be for some wanting children, get a life and leave them alone....Clay Aiken loves kids, and will make a wonderful father.
