The Bachelor: Matt Grant Narrows Field to Shayne, Chelsea

Last night on The Bachelor, Matt Grant took all three of the remaining women to Barbados. At the end of their dates, Matt would send one home, leaving only two in the running to be his trophy ex-fiancee.

Matt first met up with Shayne Lamas and they took a spin on some jet skis. They also bounced around on a floating trampoline and took a swim in the ocean. Shayne showed off her splits and straddling skills. Really.

At dinner, he invited her to spend the night with him up in the suite. After thinking about it for a split second, Shayne Lamas said yes.

Next, Matt headed out on his date with Amanda - an exciting zip line ride through the jungle. At dinner, Amanda really puts her heart out on the line, so Matt Grant can see how much she cares about him.

She tells him that she can't picture life without him and Matt Grant hands her the fantasy suite card. She, too, eagerly says yes.

Finally, Matt Grant meets up with Chelsea and the two head out on a boat ride. She keeps her distance from him for some reason.

At dinner, he tells her this is starting to feel more like a friendship. Chelsea quickly tells him that she really does care for him. She accepts the fantasy suite card and shows up wearing nothing but a black nightie.

At the rose ceremony, Matt gave the first rose to Shayne Lamas and, in a bit of a shocker, the second to Chelsea. Fare thee well, Amanda.

Amanda, Did you watch the show last night to figure out why Matt sent you home? Like did you like figure it out? Maybe it was like your diction. You like say like way too much. Matt is a refined Englishman and I am sure he cringed inside (as I did watching) everytime you said like. It was almost as if you were doing your best parody of trailer trash girl. Also, your comments to the camera were like way to phallic. When referring to the Fantasy Suite invitation card from Chris you said "I hope he gives it to me" and "I didn' think he was going to pull it out like that"...and others. Your beauty fades when you open your mouth. I hope this will give you some insight

Viewing last night's episode saddened me for I agree that Amanda set herself up for Matt's final goodbye. From what I saw of their time together after her trying to express her feelings to Matt, were two people who "just weren't connected". Even the way in which they were kissing; how she appeared uncomfortable. It was Amanda who was always the first to pull away not able to be relaxed with herself in enjoying the opportunity to truly be intimate with Matt in kissing him. I felt sorry for her as I don't think she is at the same spot that Matt is. Matt I believe has already made his decision as to who it is that he wants to be with. How could he not? Shayne 22 years old could be abit too young and although a sex kitten, can she hold his interest intellectually? Chelsea on the other hand is not able to put forth her true feelings, finding it difficult to do so. Is she centered enought within herself to allow her true feelings to show? In any relationship, we ladies know that there are no secrets between two people, nor should be. So with future hurdles ahead of them (and we all know there is bound to be), can Chelsea step up to the plate and deal with them expressing her feelings to Matt the way he needs her to? Time will certainly tell, I am sure. Sometimes what we think we want, isn't in the long run what is good for us.

LIKE, I totally, LIKE, agree!! And by calling him a crass name, you confirmed he made the right choice.

  5. Jamie Says:

I agree with the whole "like" comment. You even said it more that my 10 year old! It was very annoying and I wanted to turn the channel.

As they say, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"....and I am sure that Matt can look past the "glitz and makeup" and see a very vunerable, spirited, young woman in Shayne Lamas. He adoringly calls her "monkee"....Chelsea seems a little aloof, but it's not what we think....it's all about Matt. Best wishes.

Chealsea is a whore. Period. By taking off her nasty panties on national TV, she showed no respect for her parents. Watch out guys! Next week she'll probably flash her stinky xxxxx on public to win her man!

  8. MC Says:

You're calling Amanda trash?? What about Shayne? Any girl that chases a guy like that from day one and is such a b. . . h to the rest of the girls is just doing an acting job--her "movie" titles support the term "trailer trash" quite well. Having a brother that dated Lindsey Lohan says the same. Matt is either blind or not what we are seeing on the screen. I can imagine the first time he takes her to a formal gathering . . . because the closeup of the big diamond is definitely going on her finger. What was he thinking? If he wants the forever after, he doesn't marry someone whose parents have been married eight different times collectivesly.

Matt should so tottaly pick Shayne! they look so great together he has alot of fun with her! I love them together! If matt doesnt pick Shayne ima be one mad girl!

    From Colorado . . .

Here is my take (I am 56 years wise):

Shayne is an actress and can "act" fun, happy, flirty, etc. She is from a broken home and Matt should have seriously considered that.
