Jamie Lynn Spears is so scared about giving birth to a real-life baby that mother Lynne Spears has tried to ease her knocked up teen daughter's fears by showing her graphic videos of natural birth.

A Star Magazine source said:

"She wanted to show [Jamie Lynn Spears] what a woman goes through labor, giving birth, that it's a natural and beautiful thing... but all Jamie Lynn saw was the blood â€" or 'goop,' as she called it â€" the screaming and the pain. It was too graphic for her. She flipped out and literally got sick.

In Jamie Lynn's defense, Britney Spears scheduled c-sections for both Sean Preston and Jayden James, so this is likely the first she's heard of this.

Jamie Lynn Spears might want to go that route in the end.

The source added, "Jamie Lynn wants to be knocked out and then wake up when it's all over." Poor girl. At least Casey Aldridge will be there to comfort her, unless he's too busy closing on their new double-wide that day.

This summer, the former Newlyweds and Clash of the Choirs star will host a reality show on ABC. Its aim? To find the next Zac Efron or Vanessa Hudgens; i.e. a newcomer to be "a part of High School Musical history," as a network rep described it.

Tentatively titled High School Musical: Summer Session, the series will feature contestants between the ages of 16 and 22. It will premiere on July 20.

Right now, of course, High School Musical 3: Senior Year is being filmed in Utah; a fourth installment of the blockbuster Disney franchise is also in the works.

All of a sudden, Miley Cyrus giving fans a glimpse of her bra doesn't seem like that big a deal in the world of entertainment news.

Actor Wesley Snipes has been sentenced to three years in prison as punishment for failing to file his tax returns. The actor sat stone-faced â€" while many in the courtroom gasped â€" when the sentence was read.

"I'm very sorry for my mistakes and errors. I apologize to my family, the court and the community," Snipes said.

"I've asked the court to show me mercy and the opportunity to make things right."

Alas, the court imposed the maximum penalty allowed by law.

Fortunately, Wesley Snipes can use his basketball skills from White Men Can't Jump to make new friends in jail.

"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged," a source told People. "The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."

Rob Patterson and Carmen Electra are set to get married and, in the not too distant future, divorced.

Patterson reportedly proposed over the weekend while he and Electra were in Las Vegas to celebrate her 36th birthday. The couple has been dating less than a year.

Previous men to see Carmen Electra nude - as her husband, that is - include Dave Navarro and Dennis Rodman.

Apparently, Playboy model / actress Shauna Sand and Romain Chavent were married back in 2006 and have kept it a secret ever since.

Until now, when they're getting a divorce, of course.

Celebrity news site TMZ caught up with Romain Chavent last night and he confirmed that he filed for divorce from Shauna Sand.

Romain cited "irreconcilable differences," or something like that, and said that the couple's divorce papers were handwritten.

Romain Chavent said that Shauna Sand moving to Miami, combined by her hard-partying ways, are the primary reasons for their divorce.

According to various reports, Star Jones - one day removed from announcing her divorce from Al Reynolds - is dating NBA superstar Dwyane Wade. This rumor leaves us speechless, likely because there's too much vomit creeping into our mouths, making it impossible to put words together.

We shudder at the thought: Star Jones and Dwyane Wade, seen here at a recent tennis match, are dating.

We know Wade's Miami Heat had an awful 2007-2008 season, but doesn't Dwyane realize that he's better than this? That his dating life needn't reflect his team's performance on the court? That Star Jones is an ugly media whore? That he lives in Miami, the nation's hub for bikini-clad women?

We haven't seen this mismatched of a couple since that apple dated that orange. Or Jason Wahler dated Lauren Conrad. Scumbag.
