Sadly, Mischa Barton learned no lesson from the fate of her former character, as she was arrested for drunk driving on December 27. The actress has chosen not to fight those charges, as she accepted a plea deal in her DUI case yesterday, sparing the thin star any jail time.

The punishment for endangering the lives of fellow motorists and setting an awful example for her two fans? A three-year unsupervised probation term.

People reports that Barton will also be sentenced to a three-month alcohol-education class, one we're sure will pay off for her like it has for Lindsay Lohan, and pay a fine of approximately $1,700.

The terms of the plea deal are expected to be signed off on by the court Thursday. To celebrate, we're guessing Barton will pig out with a pair of breadsticks.
