Jordin Sparks on American Idol: The Davids are Goliaths
Like an endorsement for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton from Al Gore, the support of Jordin Sparks should mean a lot to this year's American Idol finalists.
With that in mind, the two heavy favorites - David Cook and David Archuleta - should rest easy tonight.
"I really like Jason Castro," Sparks told MTV News from the orange carpet at last weekend's Kids' Choice Awards. "I like his look, and I love his vulnerability. He goes out there, and if he messes up, he's just like, 'Oops.'
But I like David Cook too. I think the guys are where it's at this year. I love you, girls �" please don't get me wrong �" and I could be totally wrong, because the show is so unpredictable."
Jordin Sparks won American Idol last season. Who will win this season?
Come on now, Jordin, pick a winner.
"It's going to be either David Archuleta or David Cook," she said, before sating that she ultimately believes David Cook will be America's next Idol.
We hope she's right!

I think that Jordin Sparks got EVERYTHING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! David Cook is not even half as good as David Archuleta. David Archuleta is so going to win. So boo hoo Jprdin Sparks. I LOVE YOU DAVID ARCHULETA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Marney. All have won. David Archuleta does need that push in the industry but frankly, I do not see him as long standing. David Cook will make it bigger as a songwriter and performer which will give him longevity. Syesha is really good and we will hear of her because broadway is where she shines. I like all the contestants. My favorite one is gone, Jason, but he will be with the tour. I think he is outstanding and truthful in his departure. I think when it comes down to it, it will be the songwriters song that will determine the winner and I hope it is not written for one but is chosen for all to do well. Also, I really like that Simon is honest in his evaluations.

I think it would be great if Archuleta won. David Cook is too good for American Idol. He does not need to be on contract that would rin his originality. Believe me, he does not need American Idol at this point to make it in the iiindustry. Archulet adoes because he sings well, but he is not memorable and he needs the exposure of American Idol. So really both have won. I like Syesha and she deserves more as she has a great voice and I agree is a broadway singer. Good luck to all three. America is full of great talent.

Um, puh-lease. what do you mean David Cook only screams hard rock stuff?! most of his song choices have not been hard rock at all and are way more of a variety than David A's ballads every week.
