American Idol Finalists Welcome Mariah Carey

Tonight's American Idol guest mentor is the ultimate diva herself, Mariah Carey. And, according to judge Randy Jackson, the show will be off the proverbial hook. Dawgs.

"She's going to bring a wealth of knowledge about singing to these kids," Jackson said of Carey, adding that American Idol has wanted her on the series for years. "It's amazing for us to have her on."

So, does this mean we can look forward to David Cook singing "Vision of Love" or "Hero?"

"You never know!" Jackson said. "Just because you're a rocker or a country singer doesn't mean you can't sing these songs - you adapt them to what you do best."
