The sad rumors are true: Alexis Phifer and Kanye West have ended their relationship.
Phifer herself has confirmed as much.
"It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends," Phifer told People Magazine. "I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met."
Added a friend:
"They'd been having problems. Kanye is really focused on his show; he's putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they've split."

I think he should hold off on dating for a while and get Kanye back to where Kanye wants to be mentally. He's a great artist and a wonderful son for his mother, who's now in God's hand. Some times in life we have to take a break away from everything and really look at who we are and the direction we want to continue in, and then and only then will we be able to pick up the pieces. Much continued success to both of them.

I dont think the two should call it quits just like that. I dont know to much about their relationship but six years is a long time for anything. They know each others ins and outs, and if she has had this much understanding from trying to make it, numerous tours, underground and 3 main stream albums, I think they can make it. You lost one great women in your life Kanye and you had no power over it, dont lose two.

I believe if they are soul mates they will reconnect. Kanye has a void that cannot be filled by Alexis. He has endured a tremendous loss. To some who take his loss so casually, they will say "get over it already". Those of us who have endured this type of agony pray for him and lift him up, Through the "Fire". He is a genius, he will figure it out. His Angel will guide him.
Alexis is a warm, charming, creative and charitable soul. I, like Donda hope they will tie the life long knot.

i was sad to read the news and i agree with most..he should take a step back to grieve for the Mom that he he lost..if its meant to be, they'll(he and ms. alexis) get back together.

Kanye clearly should take a break from any type of relationship activity for a couple of years, he's gotta build himself back up, he's gonna need to refill his tank. Surely he relizes he was dating a very shallow person in the first place,to leave him at a time like this. What did Kanye ever do but spend his money buying nice things for someone who couldn't walk a dog during the day time. There's no hate here, if there was any loyalty they would still be together.
