I wonder really. Why is it hard for people to just except that a person is nice. Nothing more, nothing less, just nice. Just because David Archuleta has a great talent yet really down-to-earth, people say he's pretentious and gay and whatnot. And so what if he has girlfriend or not? I mean come on! Stop with all this silly pointless gossips and focus on the main thing here. David entered the competition to pursue his music career. Not to be bombarded with all this stupid stuffs. Focus on his talents now! And it does not hurt that he's just so cute and nice. Funny how people despise bad and obnoxious guys but just can't except that a person is nice. If he's nice as he is, just accept it. Simple. God bless the parents who have raise such a child. So yeah, David I'm rooting for you! I can't vote as I'm not living in America but I'm still a BIG fan! And to his fans, do vote for him as much as you can! :)

okay, seriously, this has got to stop.you people are basically pouring gasoline on whats a pretty heavy fire already.that girl's one of his best friends from high school.and she looks sweet!so will you all quit being so immature about it? theres like a one in a trillion chance of anyone who doesnt live in murray,utah of ever getting to talk to him,much less hook up with him.trust me,i live in pakistan, an entire ocean and a twenty hour flight away,much to my everlasting chagrin.i should know =(

In another more credible source, it was revealed that that girl was definitely NOT his girlfriend, but just a best friend who's like his sister. They are NOT going out, he IS single, not that that matters as this is a singing competition.
