So I found her myspace...his "girlfriend".
And like any good reporter does, I investigated! After a little hacking(oh boy, I'm going to hell) I found out that she is "SINGLE". At least it says so on her myspace. So no, they are not a couple-just friends.

Ohhhhh girls, don't say you'll never have a chance with him that's just depressing! Fame usually dies down a bit after the season is over, so you may get your shot!

I don't know why you all have to be so mean to the poor girl, I mean calling her ugly (which she's not) is a little to much. She is David's FRIEND, not girlfriend. If you guys would just take a little time and stop over reacting you would know that he dosen't have a girlfriend, because he dosen't have time for one. He's young, and in time I'm sure he'll get one. But as of right now he is single.
By the way. What ever little stunt Ryan pulled the other week with this whole "Who you taking to prom" lost David some votes. Because I know there are some girls out there that only vote for him for his looks and not his talent. And now with them thinking he's dating someone they arn't voting for him. It's a shame.

This girl looks like his older sister or his friend. In an interview he did, he said that he is just concentrating on music right now. He has alot on his plate right now, between school work and surving American Idol. He said his sisters and brothers date, but he hasn't yet. Gossip is just that.. gossip. You see how an innocent suggestion from Ryan can turn into rumors. Girls he is young yet he has plenty of time to find the right girl.

I am watching with absolute fascination the phenomena that is David Archuleta , not because he isn't real but because it is so unreal to a lot of people!
The way he presents himself and his values was the norm in the 1950's. People his age were naive. A lot of the best music was written and sung by very young people, little Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, many Doo Wop bands, many early rock and roll, blues, soul etc. It was not uncommon for these young people to really put their life's work, heart and soul into music.
So why should it be so uncommon now?
Because this is the next generation, once removed from that era, who don't know about their parent's past.
Our present day society and values makes us doubt David and question everything about him because he seems so different. Speculation about his father, his sexuality, his intent, etc.
This is a sad reflection of our present culture and mind set, where music is cheap, sex is cheap, people are cheap, money is god, people have no values, children are abused, and people don‘t trust each other, or their government, or their church.
People want what the David's of the world have to offer, but are very afraid to believe that maybe he really does just love to sing. That's why he has such a broad appeal, because he IS what he really represents, and a lot of people can see that. David A is the real deal.

REGARDLESS of whether or not this girl is his girlfriend it is absolutely not right to say things like..."theres still hope [that theyll break up]" be 100% honest if someone said that they were hoping that you would break up with your bf/gf how in the world would you feel? why would you do that to the boy? thats not even right!

No way this is not true...in an interview,the interview asked if him and some other contestant were dating and he said "No,im still too young i mean im only 17,all my brothers and sisters have boyfriends and girlfriends but not me!" theres the evidence right there!!! Keep your hope Arch Angelz!!!!!!
