If you are among the many fans of The Hills who dismiss Heidi Montag as being just another product of another reality TV show, looking to cash in furiously on her fleeting 15 minutes of fame, take a second and consider this:

She wants to be Lauren Conrad so badly, it's not even funny.

As always, People magazine went behind the scenes of this week's edition of Dancing With the Stars and dug up some dirt - as well as funny anecdotes about the cast and other moments that you didn't see on TV. Here are some excerpts ...

Girl Bonding Marlee Matlin gave a fist-pump as Shannon Elizabeth earned the first "safe" slot of the night. As the ladies were whittled down, the support turned to nervousness as Monica Seles pouted, seemingly sure of her own elimination, while Marissa Jaret Winokur fidgeted with her dress and Priscilla Presley waited anxiously.

Chikezie Eze, who became as just Chikezie, sang for the last time on the set of American Idol Wednesday after he was eliminated from the finals.

On Tuesday's show, Chikezie sang Brenda Russell's ballad "If Only for One Night." Before the performance, host Ryan Seacrest asked him about song selection and Chikezie seemed uncertain at best about his choice.

Lauren Conrad - whom you probably know from The Hills - made an appointment with NYLON's fashion team this week, and not surprisingly, the staff there was all about the chance to meet one of our favorite celebrities.

She really is that pretty in person, according to the publication, and showed up looking more like a Disney princess than even Amy Adams in Enchanted.
