Marissa Jaret Winokur - the former Broadway star who is in the entertainment news these days for participating on Dancing with the Stars - and husband Judah Miller, are expecting their first child.

The former Hairspray actress, who survived cervical cancer seven years ago, told People that a surrogate mother is carrying the baby. The pregnancy is five months along.

"[The year] 2008 is beginning to be the best year of my life," Winokur said. "I don't care if I win or lose Dancing with the Stars because I know when the show is over I will have the best prize â€" a baby."
