You people are wasting your life trying to have a baby. I mean they are very cute but you have to think about this. Having a baby at a young age is not great. Think about your education and your family! What will happen to your life?

I had my son 1 month after I turned 19 years old. Me and my now husband got together when I was 12 years old and got married when my son was 3 years old. I am now 26 years old and along with my son I also have a 2 year old daughter. Our two kids are our life. We were young when we had our first child but we got our own place before he was born and took care of him by ourself. We both have good jobs now and our kids go to daycare. We both have very loving and supportive families but we both still had to give up so much to be able to raise our kids and give them the best. I would advice anyone out there to wait till your older to have kids but if a accident happens then remember that it is your responsibility and not your parents. I had to give up my social life and alot of other things but in the end it is all worth it because your child is yours and when they smile that's all that matters. Please be safe.

how would you fell if you made a mistake and gotten pregnant under the age of 18? would you want your baby taken away from you? try walking in someone elses shoes. i think its very brave for young girls to make such a life changing decision too keep their babies. they are taking responsibility for their actions. if they can provide a stable home for the child then they have the right too!

I myself am 16 soon to be 17 and I have a 2 month old. He's the joy of my life. I support him and take care of him myself. Although I do have some help from my parents. ((Which even if I was having a baby 10 yrs from now instead, they would be helping too because it's their grandson and they love him and care about him.)) Some of you need to think before you go off saying a bunch of crap that isn't true. You need to keep your mouths shut until something that you do turns into a "mistake" that you can't take back. There are people in their 30's and 40's and even older than that drinking all day and smoking all day and even though I'm 16, am I?...no. I was in a relationship that we loved each other and although my baby was not planned, to me he's an unplanned blessing. He's shaped my life for the better. So you people who think all of the "teen" mothers were out sleeping with every guy in the city, some of us only had sex with the one guy we happened to love. Just because you'

I cannot believe people say it should be illega for minors to have sex. Are they going to go around making sure teens are not having sex? And who is to say that when you turn 21 or 22 you magically mature more than when you were 20. I got pregnant at 20 and have birth to the most beautiful baby girl at 21. I don't think age matures anyone. It is the circumstances of life and the environment around us. Don't act like you are better than somebody because you are married or you have no kids. Good for you but you are no better than anyone else. I think in general people are having children at a younger age. If a teenage girl gets pregnant and still decides to finish school after giving birth I think that is great. And if her mom is willing to watch the baby while she continues school, even better. There is nothing worse than feeling like nobody supports you when you hit tough times. The fact that these girls have a loving and supporting family just shows that they will be fine as mothers.

You know what I'm pregnant to. But I am 19 years old and have been married for 2 1/2 years and am a verteran of the US ARMY. All these teenage girls getting pregnant and thinking JLS is some kind of maternity hero is a load of bull. Girls who are under the age of 18 should not be permitted to keep there children, let alone have sex! It is not OK to get pregnant when you are unmarried and still a child yourself. If you are not finacially stable with a job and some real life expieriance then what makes you think you can be a good parent! It's sick! So if you are under age and pregnant you need to give your baby up for adoption so that a loving couple who is unable to be blessed with a child can take care of it and provide a better life!!!

I am not a teenage mom, but I have such respect for the good teenage mom's out there. Everyone makes bad judgements, but a baby is a blessing whether you are 14, 17, 25, 39, 46 or whatever age. I've known many pregnant teens who have all kept their babies and dealt with life as a teenage parent. My cousin happens to have gotten pregnant just a few short months after her Sweet 16. She will now be 17 in 2 days and her due date is April 19. I've watched her grow & change, and its amazing. I think it is horrible that people would call a pregnant teenager white trash. That is just not right. Tell me haven't you ever made a decision that you wished you would have thought about a little more? Come on, you know you have... And to the young girls who were the victim of rape... I am SOOO very sorry to hear your stories. My uncle molested me, but never got as far as raping me. So although I dont know all of what you are going through I can feel a little of it. If I were you immediat

In my hometown there has been a lot of teen pregnancies for some reson and im gona visit another friend who just had a baby boy last night. Although i frown upon children outside wed-lock accidents happen from throwing up the pill or getting sick on it to a condom spliting....things happen and maybe for a reason. I can imagine the emotional problems Jamie Lynn must be going through. With being a famous pregnant teen and all. But some people have life a lot worse. I was raped by a close friend of my family when I was 12 and ended up pregnant. I am now 14, my life is hell. My family deserted me, they didn't believe their friend was capable of rape. They thought I was making up stories. I cannot aford a DNA test so the truth may never be told. My twins though they are the light of my life.
