Mary Delgado and Byron Velvick Dish on Assault

Deanna Pappas can only hope she doesn't end up in the news for the same reason as another past contestant on The Bachelor: Mary Delgado.

Ina recent interview with Inside Edition, Delgado labeled her November arrest on a domestic battery charge as the result of an "unfortunate set of circumstances" that had nothing to due with her desire to walk down the aisle with fiance Byron Velvick.

"The assumption out there is that I'm upset because he doesn't want to marry me, and that's so far from the truth," Delgado said. "It was a lot of things. It was something that just kind of got out of hand."

Delgado and Velvick got into a fray because they disagreed over whether they should leave a friend's home after the couple they had been visiting with began arguing.

"I think that night we had a 'perfect storm' of things happening," Velvick profoundly said. "We had another couple that weren't getting along; there was a lot of issues there. They were being angry at each other."

Gosh, imagine how bloodied these two would be if they hung around Britney Spears and Lynne Spears often.

Of the experience, Delgado summed it up thusly: "It was humiliating. It's just indescribable. A lot of things go through your mind. From my mug shot you could see I cried nonstop."
