Zac Attacked by Appendix, Actor Hospitalized
Bad news for teenage girls who found Zac Efron's most attractive body part to be his appendix.
The actor was was hospitalized yesterday for an appendectomy, but his representative assures us he'll make a full recovery.
The 20-year-old High School Musical stud muffin was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for the surgery, which is as routine a procedure as there is in medicine.
"Zac had his appendix removed and is recuperating," his rep says.
Efron, who just signed on for a third installment of High School Musical, is currently shooting the feature Seventeen with Matthew Perry.
He's likely being comforted by co-star and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens right at this very moment.
