As one of the very early favorites in the seventh season of American Idol, Kristy Lee Cook is not exactly an undiscovered talent.

The young country crooner was signed to a record deal in 2001 and released an album called "Devoted." Here's the title track's video from that CD:

    Kristy Lee was discovered by the music industry ... and didn't make it big. American Idol is becoming a sham, just like the 50's game shows where they'd plant a fellow/lady with the answers into the contest. Crookedness abounds, and the American public is eating it up!

    I agree.. She is undiscovered, you didn't know about her until AI did you?? So what is that discovered talent? She deserves it just like everyone else.

    You folks need to get a life. Unless you have found they are CURRENTLY under contract there is no story. I don't see why it should matter if they USED TO have a contract and failed. Next topic.
