as far as kate being a lesbian..undefined.
and i think its great because everyone is in celebrities business and they get a lot of crap for everything so they rather keep some stuff personal.
people just assume shes a lesbian because of the way she looks or ACTS on the show. yes hence the word ACTS. have you seen photo shoots. she actually looks very feminine and i would totally believe it if someone said she was straight.

Shane, since when it is "homophobic" to state that someone is straight, if that's your opinion, based on your experience with that person? Does just being straight yourself, or believing someone else is straight make you a gay hater? Do all gays have to hate straights and vice versa? Personally, I hope Kate Moenig is gay, because she is fueling a boatload of bi-curious fantasies in straight women, myself included. In fact, I think she's the only woman on the planet I'd willingly, gratefully chow down on. But, come on! I think we've all evolved beyond the level of accusing everyone who's straight of homophobia! You sound like you believe heterosexuality in itself is inherently evil. If so, how the hell we're you conceived?

I think Kate is straight. I have read all the news interviews inwhich she or the interviewer states she is straight. I do not think becasue she refused to answer the question that means she is gay.
I think it is at best being very rude at worse being an A** to even ask her.
In reading all the blogs on Kate a lot of fans can not seem to separte the role of Shane from the real life of Katherine Moennig. She is playing a part so well the she has got the whole world think Shane is infact Kate. Which is her job. So to me she gets an A for her work. She is just an excellant actress.
Just a few examples of why I think she is straight.
Go to afterellen. com and view the first Liz Felman interview she introduces her as the most althentic fake lesbian on t.v. On the Liz Felman interview when they go out.Watch and look at her reaction when Liz trys to say that they are on a date. She is nice about it but the deer inthe headlights look is priceless. The DIVA cover interview of of 07 (I think).She has a teeshirt on and the cover says "Don't Judge a Book by it cover" Why do you suppose she wore that on the cover on DIVA mag. What do you think she was trying to say to us ?
There are a lot of more instances if you people would just think and not jump to conclusion to satisfy your own longings.
