Blake Lively: Just Friends with Penn Badgley

There's seemingly more gossip off the set of Gossip Girl than on the set of this hit CW series.

Most of it centers around Blake Lively and Penn Badgley. Is this on-screen couple also dating away from the show?

"Everybody always tries to dig into your personal life or create things that aren't there.. It's silly," Lively told People last night, denying the romantic rumors. "Any male friend is obviously a 'romance alert' [for the media], but I've always been friends with boys my whole life. "

So, how does the beauty deal with tabloid reports?

"[I] just try not to listen to what people say," Blake said. "At least for me it's important â€" because I'm so close with my family and my friends â€" to keep core people around me that know the truth about everything."

As for co-star Chace Crawford? He's definitely doing American Idol winner Carrie Underwood.

    These two are definitely dating! Things have been heating up for a couple weeks now. My sources close to the show have seen the couple getting awfully friendly over the past few weeks, and now it looks like they're not trying to hide it anymore! The pair have been friends since childhood, so they've got plenty of history. Cheers, GGuy
