Why would you throw a rock at your neighbor's roof, when yours is made out of glass......Yes it's sad she is pregnant so young, it's also sad she was having sex so young,(by the way, mom, a curfew doesn't mean she won't have sex) but we all make mistakes, famous or not. Teenagers need to learn from their parents, not from stars from Hollywood that are only acting to be someone also on stage. That's what I tell my kids when I see them idolizing someone on TV, they are not special, they are not angels, they just get paid a lot of money for what they do. But at the end of the day, with all their money and all,... they are probably feel more miserable than most of us. As for me this is the first time I'm at a site like this and can't believe some of the staff I read, I'm just reading so that I can tell my kids to learn from other people mistakes and not their own. I'm assuming you are all teenagers, in which case I think you should all turnoff your computers, do homework or open the Bibleand learn how God wants you to make a difference in the world. i'm not against pre-marital sex, and yes kids are having sex today, but in this day and age there is no excuse for getting pregnant...all parents must speak openly to kids about sex, contrception choices and the responsibilities of having a baby ..unfortunately the extra burden is on you Jaime...you are a star in a sqeaky clean tween show which thousands of young girls watch and admire...this alone should have cautioned you on the risk of pregnancy...you have not only let down your family down, especially your mother who is getting slamed already on her parenting skills with Britney, you also let down all your fans,I have an 8 yr. old daughter i have to explain this to... you have also put your co workers at risk of losing ther jos if Zoey 101 is cancelled and your baby as well....the baby will forever be photographed and chased by the paparazzi....although you did not think this through your choice of keeping your baby is very responsible...however gettinng pregnant at 16 is not ok....i will have to ban anything Zoey 101 or Spears from my kids lives and i would think many responsible parents will do the same. good luck.

They are both in a very delicate situation. Most teenagers do have sex, and despite the fact that birthcontrol is out there - nothing is 100% effective except for abstinence. They are being adults and taking responsibility for their actions. She has already said that she is going to keep the baby, I would think that that takes the abortion thing off of the table for discussion. Anyway, good luck to the two of you. Children are a great responsibility and they are worth every minute you are able to spend with them.

Ok look everybody here that has commented that Ms. Spears should NOT get an abortion, lets think about this for a minute. The fetus is not a human, it is in development. It will only obtain the label of being a humanbeing and it's rights once it pops out of her. SOOOO technically it is NOT MURDER! It is only considered murder if the organism at hand is a protected and legally identified human! She needs to have a freakin abortion flat out she has thrown her life away and it's only a matter of time before she end up with another kid, a shaved head and the father having full custody. Britney obviously isn't going to go to her sister and tell her "that was wrong" because then she'd be passing judgement on herself and lets face it Hollywood can't have that....the entire Spears family is one far beyond any type of physical or psychological help. Nickelodeon needs to drop her ass! Let's actually teach the kids something.
